Three Tunes... The song itself makes up for what the music video lacks.

Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

There are moments when I listen to a song that hits the spot because of the quality of the music itself or just because of the series of circumstances playing out when I was listening to the song. I usually dig a bit further to get other songs within that category and share them with y'all on Three Tunes Tuesdays. There are also moments when I just randomly select songs without thinking too much about a unifying theme for the songs.

In this week's edition of the buzzy Three Tunes Tuesday (TTT), I will be taking y'all on a randomly selected musical adventure. The songs will likely not have a common theme. The only unifying feature for each of the songs is that they are taken from my playlist. So, for whatever the reason may be, I'm sure the songs are worth digging into.

Let's get in already;

1. Evil Twin by LINDSEY STIRLING.

I recently found Lindsey Stirling and her career in the music industry got me captivated. I first came across her songs two months ago, when she released "Eye of The Untold". The song took me on a wild ride and I ended up digging into her older songs and live performances to get more. That's because she's good at what she does and she plays her violin with so much splendor.

This song of hers that's highlighted in this post is her most recent song which was released 10 days ago. The music video is shot with the concept of duality and I'm a big fan of that psychological thrilling theme. The level of creativity she highlights in her music videos makes them really appealing even for someone like myself who's hardly impressed by music videos. Vibe to the song and enjoy the video.

2. Poison by BEYONCE.

Yooo... I buzzed this song for real during COVID-19 and the theme of the song doesn't even align with the pandemic in any way. It wasn't a song that had a message of hope or an inspiring message. It was just one of those songs that get into my playlist and I enjoy vibing to it. I played the song again yesterday and this time around, I decided to have a look at the music video.

Surprisingly, it turned out that there was no official music video for the song. Well, that happens with a lot of songs. What I didn't expect was the rating of the song. For some reason, I assumed this song is highly rated. However, the numbers show that it's one of the underrated songs that were released by Beyonce. I still vibe to it regardless.

3. Harleys in Hawaii by KATY PERRY.

Here you have it... Another underrated song by someone who has made a huge name for herself in the music industry. Katy Perry has some really cool songs and her music videos are always full of life. The music video concept for Roar may well be her best music video I've seen. As for this one, the music video is just average at best. It looks like a fan-made video.

The song itself makes up for what the music video lacks. It's a song with a chorus that feels like an anthem and I vibe to that whenever it's buzzing on my playlist. The only theory I have for why this song is underrated in comparison to some other hit songs by Katy Perry is that the song was released when COVID-19 was flipping the world upside down.

This is where I will be drawing the line on this edition of Three Tunes Tuesday.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

There are so many popular artists that surprisingly have some underrated songs they produced. One begins to wonder why one song is a hit and the other underrated. I love Katy Perry's 'Roar'.

True. The songs that are underrated doesn't usually seem to be so different from the ones that are highly rated. I've seen a lot of underrated songs which I fancy even more than the ones that are trending all-over the place.

I can relate to enjoying a song so much and vibing well to it only to find that it's not as much rated as you'd expect. Each either his taste, yeah?

Had to check out Evil Twin now and truly, Lindsey plays the violin with so much power. Gosh!

Stopped by from dreemport.

That's the thing about Music and art in general. Each person have a unique taste in art and what we fancy may end up not being equally fancied by the rest of the world. Haha. It's interesting to see that theory play out in practical sense.

As for Lindsey Stirling, I've been captivated by her performance since I found out about her. The lady does wonders with her violin.

I fell in love with Katy Perry the moment I listened to "Roar" I used to sing it like everyday but funny enough, I haven't listened to Harleys in Hawaii, I just had to listened to it now and it's vibing really.

Roar was also the song that introduced Katy Perry to me. Since then, I've been checking out her songs and this particular one appears to be quite underrated despite being good.
