The Web3 Arena; A hardcore remote working structure.

We've massively seen a shift to remote working in recent years. COVID-19 and the lockdown that came with it forced people to really consider the idea of working remotely and taking that seriously. Some businesses only started making provisions for remote working after that period and it's been an interesting side of the world's working culture.

I know there are still people who are unreceptive of the idea of working remotely. They say "it's hard to connect with people" properly when interacting remotely.

In my case, I have a completely different experience about both sides of the working framework. I've worked in a typical 9 - 5 framework and I remember looking forward to that working experience. It wasn't easy, but I already know that nothing in life is easy. So, when I started getting crap in that working environment and when I was dealing with a lot of inconveniences that comes with it, I basically didn't whine about that.

It was after a few months of being in the sector that I got an opportunity to explore working in a remote institution. That was when my remote working adventure started for me and I haven't looked back at all.

So, it's fairly obvious that working remotely has become a big part of me and what's crazy about this is that I now spend more time working than I ever did in my 9-5 working days. I basically just wake up and jump to my remote work and that's usually the last thing I do before the end of each day.

What device helps me with my remote work?

I started remote work with a crappy phone. I managed to upgrade the phone with the savings I got from my 9-5. I upgraded to something better and worked with that for 4 years before upgrading the phone again to what I'm currently using. My current phone is already 8 months old.

I also work with laptops. The first laptop I got for the sake of working remotely ended up as an utter disappointment. I barely used it for 10 months before the motherboard became a mess. I literally spent a huge chunk of my money to get that, but the laptop didn't stand the test of time. I got another laptop last year and that's what I've been using till this moment.

Inconsistent power supply is a big part of the issue we are facing in my part of the World. It affects remote workers and messes up their digital presence. When I dived into remote work on a full-time basis, I used Power Banks as an alternative way to power my gadgets. It was only a few months ago that I decided to go the Solar Energy route. That has also proven to be a worthy investment.

I'm very bullish on remote working.

I don't know if every remote worker shares that sentiment though. The reason I'm receptive to remote working is because all my remote working experience has been in Web3 and I see a lot of future in what Web3 could be in the future. It's a massive space and there are lots of opportunities in this space.

I'm digging my leg deeper into working remotely, especially in Web3 and I'm also learning a whole lot of things that are geared towards skill improvement. More updates about that will be made public real quick.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

I was about to ask what happened to your solar installation and you brought that up. Since we really can’t do anything about the energy system in our part of the world, that’s the way to go if you want to turn to remote jobs.

You know what's crazy about this country? The more you try to get it right, the harder they make it for you.

My involvement in X Spaces has been messy this week because of the attack from our network providers. Now that the buzz about the strike is over, I genuinely hope they will allow us have smooth Internet.

I honestly want to get fully into working remotely, but I know I have been the one stopping myself from doing that because of certain commitments to my physical business business. I envy you, bro.

Yeah. I know it's not going to be easy to combine physical business with online activities.

You are doing well by showing up. Well Done

That's a nice route, working remotely isn't easy at all, coupled with the fact that there's barely power supply and the networks are always bad

Exactly. The network issues have been a huge challenge for me since last week. It was so tough that I almost failed to submit a task yesterday because the poor network made it close to impossible to upload the video to YouTube.
