The Green We Ask For - Web3

In the Green? You can also scream "to the moon" because both lines are music to the ears of every investor. I'm not even kidding. Check the Defi, NFT, and Airdrop territory on this fabulous platform. The members are always looking for a digital project that will give a "green signal".

That's exactly what we all want to deal with. The definition of "Green" is always heightened by Crypto enthusiasts, and that should never be a surprise. Green to us signifies;

  • Growth
  • Profit
  • Success
  • Reward

When you hear us say that we are "bullish on a project", it's usually because we anticipate a lot of green signals in the chart of the project. Sadly, expectations and reality do not always align. There are moments when we get the opposite of what we ask for.

Those moments of rug pulls?

Moments of market dips?

Those moments are depressing.

Checkout the scenario below;

Josh launched a Crypto token, hyped it up, rugged the investors, and disappeared with people's money.

We all cried and cursed everything about Josh.

We were bitter and overwhelmed with rage.

Who wouldn't be?

Three weeks later, a new project buzzed on the timeline.

Many people rushed to bag the project.

"$$$ To the moon 🚀" became the new anthem

The "Let's-Fvcking-Go" crew were the loudest.

The FOMO-induced BUYS were rising by the day.

"Oh, wait!"

Is that RED on our chart? That's bad!

The folks who screamed "to the moon" because of the greens are now crying because of the red signals.

That's because red is hardly a sign of good news in this Web3 space.

  • The project rugged!
  • The project's Telegram became inaccessible!
  • Their X account became irresponsive!
    "Oh, sh*t"

Oh... Yeah!

Crypto isn't a place to just run around with the hype. If you are not going to DYOR, you will get smoked by rug pulls, and you will unavoidably fall out of the green wagon.

Let that be a lesson to us all, okay?

We all want to see our portfolios in the green zone, and we enjoy seeing green all over the chart. However, it takes a great deal of research and experience to be able to figure out the projects that will grace us with greens. That's what we need to commit to.

The DYOR concept is often overused, but this is a perfect time to remind y'all to always do your research about any project you are diving into. It won't certainly save your ass, but it will increase your chances of seeing greens in the tokens you will be adding to your portfolio.

What's so interesting is that the concept of green and red is also applicable to many other parts of our lives. For the most part, Green represents life, vibrance, and something appealing.

I genuinely want my life to be full of Green.
