Multi-chain Enthusiast? That "eggs and basket" line is so true!

stock-trading-6525084_640.jpg

Wow! Life is really kicking me where it hurts because I never would have guessed that a cinephile like myself would choose to go on a full 3 weeks grind without carving out a minute for movies or TV shows. That has been one of the choices I had to make to commit more time to what I'm currently trying to achieve.

The things I'm trying to achieve are fairly obvious too... I'm trying to become a multi-chain professional in this Web3 space after devoting most part of my Web3 journey to building my reputation on Hive Blockchain.

It's been so long since I started building here and the incident that happened in the first week of July with the hacking of my X and Discord account made it obvious that putting all my eggs in one basket isn't exactly a good step to take.

I mean, we hear that "eggs and basket" line very often to the point where it's becoming quite generic. However, it's a statement that stands tall. So, I've been taking enough time to go back to the foundation and relearn about Web3 in a more complex way.

You know Web3 is actually wild, wide, and fast-paced. Anyone who snoozes will end up having so much to catch up on. I've been there and done that a couple of times. However, I'm no longer interested in having those updates fly me by.

I'm working towards;

  • Being in the moment.

  • Flowing with the liquidity.

  • Being well informed of the narratives.

  • Widening my Web3 knowledge.

  • Getting more connected to the KOLs across different chains

  • Becoming a cross-chain KOL myself

  • Positioning myself to build great things in the wider Web3 ecosystem.

Ohhh... I'm also taking a UI/UX course. I applied for the course last month, got an opportunity to go ahead after the review of my application, and my payment for the 3-month course is fully made. The first class, which turned out to be an introductory class, was held on Monday.

Another class is happening tonight (Wednesday) and I would have to let go of writing the post if I fail to have it all drafted and edited before 20:30. For the record, it's currently 19:50. So, I sorta have enough time to have it published before the time for the class. In fact, that's exactly what I will do.

With that said, I've had to pause digging through all the Movies/TV shows in my watchlist. Haha. However, a new footballing season is starting this weekend.

Yeah!

The English Premier League is exactly what I'm interested in, and I will be clocking in to watch my Liverpool lads play their games. I already made a preparatory move for the footballing season by moving my "Shill Your Web3 Grind" X series to Mondays and Fridays. So, my weekend would be more flexible.

I didn't set up a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) team for this season though. I don't see how it would be possible for me to commit to building the team and consistently showing up each game to tweak the team selection to increase my chance of getting more points.

I would end up with too much on my plate. So, I will just focus on watching Liverpool play and writing a game review whenever I feel the need to share my thoughts on the game.

That's it, folks. Keep grinding.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

It's a very complex adventure out there. The Web3 space is wild and very fast-paced.

There are moments when you will feel like there are too many things you need to learn.

Is there a platform for learning stuffs?

There's no particular platform to learn all these. So much can be learned by being on Twitter spaces where discussions are made about Web3. You can also learn so much through YouTube and International Google searches.

What I always suggest for anyone who wants to truly learn about all these is for them to download "The Bitcoin Whitepaper", read that and take note of anything that feels unclear. Then, research those and study those concepts.

From there, the person can slowly start digging into Defi, Liquidity pools, CEX, DEX, etc.

Bro... It's just a lot. And it needs a great level of commitment.

True. Being someone that reflects about myself each day is very important. That's how I get to know what I need to work on

Whenever the realization that one hasn't seen a movie in a long time hits, especially a cinephile, it can be very thought-provoking.

It's clear that you have a lot on your plate but it's also clear that you are handling them to the best of your ability.

Good luck!

Seriously. It's a big decision to choose to do that. It's also a necessary adventure to get into.

There is so much to learn and I'm doing my best to learn as much as possible. I look forward to how things will turn out.

Your plate is indeed full and I wish you all the best as you take each step in achieving your goals.

I was able saying "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy" until I saw premier league 😂 it's good to look for something that will calm our nerves at the end of the day.

Hahah... You are correct ooo. My second space of the week initially holds on Saturdays, but I had to draw it back to Friday so I can have time to enjoy the Premier League. Haha.

That's the one I will use to enjoy the weekend.

It's not easy to oooo. But, it has only been 28 days or so since I decided to explore what's happening in Web3, outside what I already do on Hive.

It's a tedious adventure, but I've been exposed to a lot of opportunities already. Just this night, I got into a 5-hour Web3ArtistAwards team meeting, which we held on a Twitter space. It's going to be a yearly award for folks in Web3 and the first edition is scheduled for December.

It's a lot of work but I'm learning so much more about other sides of Web3 and also getting opportunities to work with Founders and several Web3 projects. So, I will go through this and when the time is right, I look forward to a significant improvement in my standard of living.
