3 Tunes Tuesday... Building For The Future.

Hello, it's Three Tunes Day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

It's another Tuesday... The perfect day to go through my playlist and take y'all on an interesting musical adventure. Music, at the right time, can serve several purpose. It can even be inspiring.

So, for today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I will be sharing songs about building for the future.

That's what I'm focused on doing with my life at the moment. I'm figuring and implementing several things that could help me lay solid foundation for the life I want. It's not an easy task. However, it is one worth the effort.

Check out the songs;

1. Empire State Of Mind by Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys.

Ahaaa... I know this is a very old song. I can remember listening to this back in 2016 when I was still a University student. That's why the "3 years ago" date attached to the YouTube video was quite surprising.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys were incredible in this song. It's a global hip-hop anthem that highlights a real grass to grace story. We all wanna look back at where we started someday and be grateful for the success we already achieved.

2. SKYSCRAPER by Demi Lovato.

As far as I can recall, this 2011 single is the song that introduced me to Demi Lovato. This is one of those songs that got into my playlist during my University days. It remained in that playlist until this very moment.

This is a song with the theme of resilience which is also tied to a personal experience she had back then. She even had to go for complete rehab 2 years after recording this. It sure takes resilience to pick ourself up from rock bottom and climb high.

3. BELIEVER by Imagine Dragons.

Imagine Dragons is on a whole different level. Their song is usually a pure vibe. Plus, it hits really hard when you start to pay attention to the message in the song too. The music video is also clean and on point.

This particular one perfectly suits our theme of the day. It's a song that highlights how pain can be a force that will make us stronger and more resilient in our attempt to build the future we desire.

We all understandly have the desire to build a solid future for ourself and those around us. We just need to back that desire up with genuine effort in order to get steps close to achieving what we desire.
