RE: June Hive Token Progress Report: 2025 HP Goal Achieved!

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

more or less one 350ml can of Kirin Ichiban Shibori per day, and a weekly bonus large packet of 7-11 peanuts

I love the way you show the real value of your HBD interest. Wouldn't it be great to be able to actually buy the beer and nuts with Hive or HBD?

Thanks @keithtaylor - oh yes, to be able to go into 7-11 and pay with Hive would be amazing. There are a few shops where you can do that in Equador, Holland, and some other places, but certainly not in Japan!

Coincidentally, I just read about @zypto in the latest from @coldbeetrootsoup. So it looks like it we might be able to spend Hive anywhere in future. Can't wait!

Thanks for the heads-up - it was the @coldbeetrootsoup boys' video about buying a bitcoin duck in a shop in the Hague that I was thinking of when I included Holland in my list!

Thank you @keithtaylor for reblogging. I've just noticed you're based in Shipley. I lived in York for several years in the 1980s and 90s, oh, and in Leeds and Wakefield for a year apiece when I was a little boy.

Technically, I was born in Leeds. Or at least my birth certificate is held there. But the town of Baildon, my birthplace, is now part of Bradford since 1974 reorganisation.

Arrgh... Ted Heath...!

If you follow football, which team do you support? I ask as a raving long-distance Leeds fan!

I'm not really a fan. But if Leeds are on in the pub, I'll be cheering them.

Aren't all Leeds fans raving?

Ha ha, yes, pretty much - and as much with frustration as enthusiasm!
