Pyralis manihotalis

This is a wonderful moth. I found it sitting on the wall. This insect looked great on this colorful . In the evening I saw this insect looking very beautiful in the wall which caught my eye. I took some photographs of it at that moment. This type of moth looks amazing and looks a lot like a butterfly. Such moths sitting on two wings are amazing to see.

This is a Pyralis manihotalis. It is a moth species. I found this name through google search. Of course there were many names but I found this name interesting. Such moths stay in one place for a long time and these insects do not move very easily. And in most cases the two wings sit nicely together. If no one disturbs them, they sit and rest in the same place for a long time. I like it best when such moths sit with their wings spread.

I often see such beautiful insects around us. But one thing I have noticed is that I have seen such moths sitting inside the walls before which the walls are painted and also where the electric lamp is lit. They look a lot like butterflies. They look pretty cool. Yesterday evening when I returned home from the market I saw this insect sitting in the wall and took some photographs which I share with you now.
