Bendecida tarde de Miércoles estimados amigos creativos de Hive. Estoy de vuelta en esta comunidad para compartir con ustedes un nuevo dibujo que ha surgido de mis pequeñas sesiones de terapia de relajación.

Blessed Wednesday afternoon dear creative friends of Hive. I am back in this community to share with you a new drawing that has emerged from my little relaxation therapy sessions.

En esta oportunidad les presento un dibujo de una flor de loto, la cual fui rellenando con líneas en diferente patrones y colores hasta obtener un dibujo lleno de color. Lo primero que hice fue imprimir la silueta de una flor de loto en una hoja en blanco, para luego colorear los bordes e iniciar a crear lo patrones de líneas en cada pétalo.

This time I present a drawing of a lotus flower, which I filled with lines in different patterns and colors until I obtained a drawing full of color. The first thing I did was to print the silhouette of a lotus flower on a blank sheet, then color the edges and start creating the line patterns on each petal.

La flor de Loto siempre me ha parecido muy hermosa y fascinante, sin embargo nunca había sentido la curiosidad de saber más acerca de ella. Según lo que estuve leyendo, su significado varía de acuerdo a las diferentes creencias y religiones. La flor de loto también es conocida como Loto Sagrado y Rosa del Nilo alguno de los significados más conocidos son: Fuerza del alma, símbolo de la sabiduría, fuerza interior y resistencia ante la adversidad.

The Lotus flower has always seemed very beautiful and fascinating to me, however I had never felt the curiosity to know more about it. According to what I was reading, its meaning varies according to different beliefs and religions. The lotus flower is also known as Sacred Lotus and Rose of the Nile, some of the most known meanings are: Strength of the soul, symbol of wisdom, inner strength and resilience in the face of adversity.

Para este diseño elegí utilizar tonos rojos y azules porque creo que contrastan muy bien. Coloreé los pétalos paralelos con los mismos patrones y colores para lograr armonía en todo el diseño y trabajé de dos en dos hasta que estuvo todo el dibujo terminado.

For this design I chose to use red and blue tones because I think they contrast very well. I colored the parallel petals with the same patterns and colors to achieve harmony in the whole design and I worked two by two until I had the whole drawing completed.

En esta ocasión utilice marcadores de punta fina para que se pudiera apreciar mejor los diferentes patrones de líneas. Estos patrones incluyen líneas rectas, líneas curvas, muchos círculos de diferentes tamaños y algunas líneas en espiral.

This time I used fine tip markers so that the different line patterns could be better appreciated. These patterns include straight lines, curved lines, many circles of different sizes and some spiral lines.

Este dibujo lo realice en horas de la noche luego de haber terminado mi jornada laboral en la computadora. Me sirvió mucho para relajar mi mente de tantos números y asuntos que nada tienen que ver con la creatividad, por eso espero seguir disfrutando de esta bonita actividad que tanto beneficio aporta a mi bienestar.

I made this drawing in the evening after finishing my workday at the computer. It helped me a lot to relax my mind from so many numbers and issues that have nothing to do with creativity, so I hope to continue enjoying this beautiful activity that brings so much benefit to my well-being.
