They tried to have one last dinner on the rooftop, but the late August storm had other plans. The rain began to fall hard just as they were taking out the bikes they used to ride up the mountain on weekends. Marta and Luis always planned that Sunday all week, which had become almost a ritual to close out the weekend and take a break from so much stress teaching teenagers.

That day, the wind blew so hard that the tree branches couldn't stop, and the smell of wet earth was everywhere. However, far from ruining the ride, the storm added a wonderful touch to their training. They pedaled on, ignoring the raindrops that began to fall. Each drop of rain gave them more courage. Nothing would ruin their Sunday adventure. They wanted to unleash the energy they had inside, which they poured out on that hill every weekend, and only then could they begin a light week.

Between laughter and sweat, they reminisced about all the miles they'd ridden together: sunrise bike rides, impromptu runs through the park, and even a vegetable soup they'd made at one point.

When they finally got off their bikes, soaked but happy, they knew that no storm, no rain, no relentless wind could stop their love for the sport and their desire to release so much pent-up stress.

Intentaron tener una última cena en la azotea, pero la tormenta de finales de agosto tenía otros planes. La lluvia comenzó a golpear con fuerza justo cuando sacaban las bicicletas que usaban para subir la montaña los fines de semana. Marta y Luis siempre planeaban durante toda la semana ese domingo que casi ya era un ritual para cerrar el fin de semana y descansar de tanto estres dando clases a adolescentes.

Ese dia el viento soplaba con tanta intensidad que las ramas de los árboles no cesaban y el olor a tierra mojada se olía por todos lados. Sin embargo, lejos de arruinar el paseo, la tormenta añadió un toque maravilloso a su entrenamiento. Pedaleaban sin importar las gotas de lluvia que empezaban a caer, cada gota de lluvia les daba más aliento, nada arruinaría su aventura del domingo. Querían liberar esa energía que tenían por dentro y que cada fin de semana dejaban en ese cerro y solo así poder comenzar una semana ligera.

Entre risas y sudor, recordaron todos los kilómetros recorridos juntos: amaneceres en bicicleta, carreras improvisadas por el parque y hasta una sopa con verduras hicieron en algín momento.

Cuando finalmente bajaron de las bicicletas, empapados pero felices, sabían que ninguna tormenta, ni lluvia, ni el viento incesante podrían detener su amor por el deporte y las ganas de liberar tanto estres acumulado.
