LARUSKA THE EXPLORER SEAGULL

Once upon a time there was a seagull named Laruska, who lived in a nest high up on the cliff of Colorado Beach. Ever since she was a baby she wanted to accompany her parents to explore other environments. She was always ready to fly, but her parents forbade her to leave the nest until she was older. It had been a long time for Laruska, so her parents decided to teach her to fly. Laruska began to flap her wings. She couldn't believe it. Very excited she began to squawk.... her squawks deafened her parents. She didn't listen to their advice.

She simply took flight. After that trip she decided that she would fly every day on the sly. She had to exercise. Her parents were always teaching her something new, but she was always hungry for new thrills. She was not satisfied with just flying and fishing in the sea. One day while flying over Hidden Beach she noticed some children in the sand.... at first she crept closer. At that moment an unfamiliar scent tempted the rebellious seagull. Without a second thought it swooped down. It stole some food from the children. And quickly took flight to land more quietly on the cliff. There, tasting the stolen delicacy, she discovered new flavors. From that moment on, her culinary adventure began. Day after day he ventured into the restaurants of Safe Harbor. Curiosity was his north. She would steal ice cream. She would take french fries and a piece of patty. Her fame spread like wildfire. However, despite her behavior, Laruska enjoys the sea breeze and her peaceful home and, on the advice of her parents, is learning to temper her adventurous spirit and value the company of her feathered friends.
