Ordinary Thursday to extraordinary simple surprise. You make my day extra special my love.

Hello Hive Community!. It's Thursday and I know we're waiting for the weekend to come. One more day left and we spend time with our family. Its Friday and my kids will love it. I know some people have work on weekends. It's sad that they go to work for a living. On weekends kids at home and parents at work. But life must go on for us to survive.

My story starts when me and my husband go to work. We're working in different companies. Today is a busy day for me. Unexpected day, everyday is full of surprises. And we must ready to face the reality. And as time goes by I feel so tired. I message my husband that I want to go home soon and get some sleep. And he called me immediately after my message. Few more hours my love and you can go home. That's what he said to me. He usually get home in the evening, around 6 or 7 o'clock. And he told me they have a meeting, so it means he doesn't know what exact time he will come home. I don't like to disturb him at all. And he will finish his work on time.

Fast forward: I go to my daughters' school so we can we will go home together. I wait a little longer because their still practicing. Tuesday and Thursday she has a dance class. . While waiting, my daughter sent me a message. While looking at her photos, I can't imagine how time flies so fast. It feels like yesterday, I was holding her in my arms and now she's quickly growing as a young kid. Reflecting those days she's my baby and now dancing. By the way, she also takes singing and piano lessons. I let her decide what she wants to join. It's a sign of independence in making decisions in her life and loving what she's doing. Its the start of her journey to independence. The things that she loves and will develop more and turned into passion. Much better she will find joy in her life. And that's what parents wants to happen in their children.

After finishing her dance class, finally we can go home. As a mother, I always take time to check on her what's happening at school. It's good or bad, happy or sad, everything she needs to tell me. Open conversation will strengthen our bonding as a mom and daughter. While going home I always make sure to check what's happening to her at school. It's good or bad she needs to tell me. It's a good connection for us to build trust and honesty with each other. And listening to what she feels and speaking out of her mind , will develop with emotional intelligence and confidence. I let her express herself, just let her speak out to remove the stress she has at school or other people. And the story of it is too much, hahahaha.

As soon as we got home, I started preparing the ingredients for our dinner. While my daughter Aya is doing her homework. Then my husband came home. He surprised me with a bouquet of tulips. I did not expect it because I know how busy he is at work. He wants to lift my spirit, (not the spirit of the ghost ok, hahahaha). Lift up my spirit from a tiring day. A simple and meaningful act of love. I truly love him the way he takes care of me. I really appreciate all his effort for our family.

After that, we gathered at the table to start our dinner. Conversation is still there. Its a must for us to be more closer together. Sharing what happen to us this day, simple means of having a beautiful memory as a family.

Later in the evening. We enjoyed a glass of wine. Actually we have too much wine at home. Its a Christmas present from work, friends and family. Take time to unwind and enjoy each others company.
