A voyage

Like a storm into the sewer he went

Flying into the dark hole

Down, down he ran like a wind

A tempest in the tubes

A dark voyage of sewage and spilled happiness

He slowed down and followed the flow

Got used to the stink

And eventually he reached the ocean

Well we do seem to dump some nasty stuff in the sea. Humans like to spread their mess.

Here's the Danish sea. The farmers have used so much fertiliser that green algae kills it all off. For years the farming lobby has been aggressively getting through with the idea that they are the original Danes in the original profession - and somehow our politicians have been lenient. But now you can hear that they know that the whole rest of the country has gotten to the point were we really hate their guts. So now they are doing their best to minimise the branding damage they have suffered. Incredible that we have to go all the way before we really react.

There are many young farmers who now try to find methods to revitalise the soil and make it sustainable again. But ... incredible. When I was a child fish was cheap and aplenty. Now we eat Norwegian cage salmon.
