Visiting Nami Restaurant in Crete

avatar

How often do you eat out?
How do you decide where to go eat, if you do not wish to cook at home?
And, what do you eat? Something easy at a comfy place, or do you prefer a more luxurious experience?

I like everything, I want to try as much as I can and I really hope that I could eat at more places and prepare reviews - content for what I eat.

Unfortunately time and life does not permit it, but maybe it can be a future endeavour.

For this post, I will take out out with me at a special place, located directly at a sea view spot - which opened in 2025 for the first time!

It is called Nami and it is located close to the end of our small beach road.

One of the things that I really like about this place is how all the plants they have on the tables and around are real.

I hate plastic plants, anywhere I see them.. I feel like the people owning the place have not spent any time choosing and looking after real, live plants - so why would they devote time to create a nice experience?

We visited this restaurant a couple of days ago, it was the 5th or 6th time we have been there, but this time there were not so many ppl around so I decided to take a few shots :) And here they are, I hope you enjoy them!

Sunset time....

Trying to take some photographs with my phone with a blurred background and people at the back

This is one of the nice and modern artifacts at this place

IMG_2774.jpeg

This was simple water, I swear!

I have only seen this water brand in this place. I loved the bottle

This is a burger and how they serve it. The cost is 12 euros, it is delicious, and the fries super crispy, tasting like they are freshly prepared.

I swear, these plants are real!

IMG_2785.jpeg

Once more, cheers to you!
Sometimes crystal, cold water is all you need!

After you leave the restaurant, you are directly located at the organized beach, and if it is evening, you can also spend as much time as you want simply siting on the chairs (no need to pay anything) and digest the food while you hear the waves crashing on the shore..

It is not dangerous to be there, as there are always people around and it feels generally very safe.

I hope that you enjoyed my short tour and review. I really hope to have the opportunity and visit this place again soon, before it closes for the winter time.

it seems a nice place, not too chic, the dish was also good looking... i go out sometimes, it's pretty expensive in general and usually i prefer restaurant with its own family working on it

Yes, those are usually the best - they are more attentive and their food home made and delicious!
I enjoy all places as long as I dont cook:) hahah (kidding)

It's such a beautiful spot! 💖 I completely agree with you about real plants...they really do make a huge difference in a place's atmosphere 🙌 The burger looks so delicious, but the best part has to be that beautiful view of the sea 💕

Thank you very much for pointing this out! I do not usually post reviews of restaurants so I did not have it in mind to check rules before posting.

You are welcome @katerinaramm. Thanks for your understanding. Of course, you can still pin those posts to the map, just make sure you use the right community for it. 👍
