The Wave
Today I wanted to make an actifit post, I had plans to go walk at some nearby places and make a lot of steps.
During the holidays, I admit, I spent more time working (and eating) and less time being outside, taking walks and relaxing.
Most of the day today it was raining, and there were some small breaks of blue skies and warm sun. So at that time, I tried to take two short walks with my camera.
The photo I m starting with is is in the afternoon, just during sunset (at the village next to mine)
I did not go alone, so I could not stay as long as I wanted, and experiment the ways I wanted to.
But at least I got some cool shots!

You recognize the island at the back, right?
The below photo is a photo that got me wet. Really wet.
First time that I got my shoes and trowsers totally wet, does this mean I am a real photographer now? :)

When I came home and saw the photos, I thought to give ChatGPT a task.
I asked to write a poem and a heiku, but to use my own style (we discuss together a lot, especially when I want to learn something)
Here's what my personal AI assistant has come up with

Today,
for the first time,
my shoes got wet
while I was chasing waves.
Not by accident.
Not because the sea was careless.
But because I stayed
longer than comfort allows.

The ocean doesn’t rush.
It teaches by repeating itself.
Wave after wave,
failure after failure,
until timing and trust finally meet.

Patience isn’t waiting on the shore,
it’s stepping forward,
knowing you might return soaked,
empty-handed,
or
changed.
Resilience is not resisting the water,
but learning how to move with it,
even when it pulls you back.

And results…
they don’t always arrive as victories.
Sometimes they arrive
as wet shoes,
steady breath,
and the quiet certainty
that you didn’t turn back.
Today, I didn’t catch the wave.
But the wave noticed me.
And next time,
I’ll be there again.

I hope you liked it, I did a few tweeks but the poem does sound as if it was written by me :)

Wow! you've got the best shots. I love them all.
