One of My Photos Will Be Exhibited in The Art of Social Media 2025

I feel very proud and honored to write this post.

As you may remember, because I have posted this also in the past - every year, a photo exhibition takes place in my island and it also travels to a few cities around the world. Photographers from all over the world can participate and they have the opportunity to be among the winners whose photos get to travel (and also receive one of their great looking awards!)

I have participated every year (I think it is already 3 or 4 years), never really believing that I could win. Well this year I first saw a few stories on Instagram and then I checked my email ... and I was really very much surprised to receive the notification of winning!

The droplets you see are real, from the rain just before I went there.

It had rained a lot that day, after it rained, I took my phone and went outside to take a few shots. I cannot tell you how long I stayed outside and how excited I was because of the many many drops I found outside and on different kind of flowers. This one was maybe a little more beautiful because the inside of its looked like stars. Also there is symmetry, but it is broken by a single leaf that is looking a different direction.

I would like to tell you to never give up if you are enjoying something, it will eventually pay off in ways you cannot imagine.

And even if it does not continue as you wished, you will at least have enjoyed the whole process
