Let's Travel 13 Years Back
Today I went back in time. Back to the autumn of 2011.
I had a great job that I loved at the time and I was exploring digital opportunities (mainly for my job .. little did I know then)
I was studying Computer Science at the time, and one of our assignments was about Social Media. That is why I decided to create my first social media accounts. I started with Facebook and Twitter.
The first that I should think of was ... my username. What would it be?
The easiest and quickest was .. katycrete.
Why? My friends called me katy and I was from Crete. Can it be simpler than that?
I have mostly used this username for my photography, I have an Instagram account with almost 10K followers, my twitter that I do not use so often and a tiktok channel.. I also created a few years ago a Pexels account, for donating my photographs where I recently reached 30 million views!
Definitely, a reason to celebrate! I am very happy that the photos of where I live have reached more than 30 million people!
As the years went by, and I decided to be involved with the digital space in a different way, I decided to create a different persona. My blogging account, which would be called 'katerinaramm'
I am not sure yet if I should have stayed with the previous username. In my mind, those were/are two different things. Katy is more into photography while Katerina is more into exploring, learning, creating tutorials, trying out different things and apps online and so on.
This post is to remember how it all started and potentially to inspire anyone who reads it.
Do not let chances go by. If you feel inspired, do it. Take the plunge, try it out and see what happens!

Funny enough, I created my Twitter account in 2011 and was among the 100K advertisers in the world to run FB ads. Back then everyone clicked on your offer, no matter what you sold 😊
Haha, It was so easy back then to acquire thousands of followers in a few clicks!!
I now feel sorry that I did not do more, then. But I also was too young to care. I cared more about how to make my boss richer back then.

Those were some crazy times as we were experimenting with all these fancy networks. I bet though that you've learned a ton of valuable lessons that you can deploy today to boost your business / career. It's a phenomenal adventure and a fantastic path to growth.

Time as it is is passing very quickly and you don't know when the year starts and then it ends. I myself had created my Facebook account 15 years ago, and there are some friends in it, whom we do not talk to, do not meet, and there was a time when we used to spend time with them day and night.
