Exploring Bullish.Social [Part A]

A few days ago I was writing on X about how much our attention will worth very soon, and that apps will compete on who will treat & reward it users best than the other mediums. Especially social media platforms. Already Facebook has rolled some rewarding models and apps like TikTok, already rewards its content creators (but not yet in all parts of the planet).

We are on hive, that has really paved the way, but it has to catch up and to be more new-user friendly, as new users really want to do things as fast as possible and they are usually about hype, maybe even not bother to devote a lot of time for their investigation / research.

Even so, I believe that honest initiatives and honest communities have a bright future ahead, especially as tech will keep evolving.

Why all this prologue?

I have been seeing an ad on X for several days now. I saved the post and wanted to check it out, however I kept postponing it.

However, yesterday I saw the ad again and I thought.
This is a sign.

I need to check this out, to register and to tell you all about it.

I even asked for the help of AI, trying to combine both ChatGPT and Grok for information shared online and on X specifically.

I first visited its profile on X here

It is inspiring to see that they aim to give power to us, people. They mention Web3, they seem to want to build something fair.

What if governance is not for holders, but for contributors?

The x account was created in 2023, is based in Turkey and they verified it in September 2025, quite recently.

What is their roadmap?

This is a really good question.
The platform is currently on version v1.5.4, indicating ongoing development and updates. However checking their roadmap here I do not see any dates or timeframes mentioned. It seems too general for me.

Does It Have a Token or a Team?

I could not find an official announced launch date for the $BUSO token from Bullish Social.
The token is still in pre-launch phase, with points/earnings from user engagement likely converting to $BUSO upon release.

Even though I am very skeptical after my initial research, I am seeing some marketing effort (well at least some $$ spent on X ads, which are not cheap) so I will be creating an account, so that you can also make your own decisions on if you wish to create an account or not.

You can register with your google account, with a wallet or simply an email and your username.

REMEMBER! When registering for a new website which you do not know if you can trust, put a brand new password, not one that you may use for other websites/apps.

First thing I did was go to edit my profile image, but apparently you need to connect a wallet for that

I see some simple posts, and on the right there is a club for every post.
The platform needs to be explored, so I will probably get back with a second post as this is getting very long for just one publication.

The platform feels fast and easy to navigate
I cannot say much about the content yet, but we need to keep in mind it is too new and there is not even a real token launched yet, so .. we got to not be too harsh on them.

I am still skeptical, but I will spend sometime exploring the platform and will get back to you with a part B
