A rejection and an invitation!

Remember when I shared with you that I had applied at two new jobs, because I was thinking of expanding my horizons?

Well today I received one response. And it was not what I expected ...

I got rejected :(

I thought that I was experienced for that specific role.
But on the other hand, I think that I m getting a bit older.

So, in these cases it is not easy to get a chance, especially to a company that would prefer to hire a 20 year old that could be more excited(ing) and potentially also cheaper. Besides, it has been years that I realized how dispensable we are all from our work-bosses.

Anyways, I got sad not been given at least one chance for an interview, but then again - its better to be a bit disappointed now, than later.

I do not like to advertise my self so much, I see many people, especially on LinkedIn to share stories, and information, and so many AI made texts.. I am not like that, I do not see the scope.

I even don't write about all my skills or my jobs on LinkedIn. I save the most important stuff to be on my CV, which I am sending only when I feel like sharing.

A few hours later after having seen my rejection, I saw another message by someone who found me through a forum and asked to discuss further with me for a job opportunity. Not exactly sure what this is about, but it will be interesting to explore. What I know is that it has to do with block chain and Web3

That's my news for today, i hope you are doing great and stay safe out there...

xx

Rejection is okay, everyone experiences it at some point. Don’t worry; there’s a bigger opportunity waiting ahead for you.
