Hardcore Minecraft 😱 ~ part four

Yep! I'm still alive in this current Hardcore Minecraft playthrough, despite the attempts of a group of pillagers intent upon my demise. xD

When I left off in my last post, I was building up a little farm area as my character was starting to become a bit short on the food front. There are sheep nearby so they're going to be moved to a paddock I've built and I'm going to feast upon lamb chops. And use their beautiful colourful wool for all sorts of decor.

So I lure a bunch of sheep to my lair with some wheat.

2024-06-11_13.28.13.png

And soon they're at home, dyed different colours, and ready to be bred when more wheat is ready. I'm going to shear them all for assorted coloured wool for various creations.

If you played on the HiveGC Minecraft server... was it last year? You'd have seen my colourful sheep farm. XD

It's what I do! COLOURS!

With my sheeps becoming accustomed to their new home and my new wheat fields growing, I decided that it was time to return to the Nether to farm up some quartz so I could start work on my building adventures.

That's when I remembered that I needed to build a bridge. The village where my portal spawned is just behind that snowy region in the distance.

2024-06-11_22.01.17.png

The proud owner of copious quantities of pink cherry blossom wood thanks to my deforesting efforts, I utilised it to make a pink bridge! Not my first colour or material of choice but it'll do.

I guess that's what my paths are going to be made of too! Until I get some blue ice.

2024-06-12_09.37.47.png

Because I'm OCD I continued my path all the way to the village.

2024-06-12_09.05.02.png

As I was taking my path up another small mountain towards the village, I found an inordinate amount of skeletons in a small cavern. Enough to make me think there's a skeleton spawner in there somewhere.

I've never made a skeleton farm before! Only cave spider farms. So if there's a spawner in there, that could be an interesting adventure.

2024-06-12_10.20.39.png

Anyway, I finished my path and I've got an area all carved out for building Village Ala Kaelci. NOW I CAN BEGIN QUARTZ ACQUISITION. xD

So I grabbed some food, some tools, and hopped back into the Nether... ready to be as careful as possible whilst finding all the quartz I can.

2024-06-12_10.22.04.png

I went through all four of my iron pickaxes pretty quickly in my hunt for quartz, but at least I found some β€” no where near enough.

2024-06-12_10.51.00.png

I decided that whilst I was in the Nether, I may as well visit Base #1 and try and find some more diamonds so I could make more diamond tools. Just a couple. Don't want to waste diamonds when I can't enchant yet.

2024-06-12_10.56.05.png

Whilst hunting for diamonds, I heard the clattering of bones... following my ears, I dug my way into a little dungeon complete with skeleton spawner!

I light it up with torches for future use, loot the chests, and continue hunting for the elusive diamonds. I miss the good ol' days where you could just dig lines for days and come across heaps of the things.

2024-06-12_11.09.07.png

Whilst digging a little more, I followed my ears again to the sound of spiders!

Thankfully they were just normal spiders, considering where my ears took me... to some abandoned mineshafts. Complete with a couple of diamonds! Woo.

I'm going to have to explore this, but unfortunately my supplies are running low and I've run out of food on this adventure.

2024-06-12_11.09.24.png

I zoomed along a couple of the shafts whilst I still had torches to light the area up, then hoofed it out of there once I saw the cave spider spawner.

I'm not prepared for poison or anything at the moment, but I'm happy that the spawner is there. If my skeleton XP farm fails, I'll at least have the cave spider one!

2024-06-12_11.30.38.png

After slaughtering some wild pigs for their bacon, I dove back into the underground in search for diamonds β€” and to explore the mineshaft a little.

I found a little amethyst area! Which I very quickly liberated of all its amethyst. xD That'll look nice with my quartz house.

2024-06-12_11.36.58.png

I also found some more lava pools which I swiftly covered with water to both protect myself from any mishaps and to gather more obsidian later on.

2024-06-12_11.52.28.png

By the time I finished this little explorative endeavour and had run out of torches again, I had found 15 diamonds. More than enough for my intent at the moment.

It's time to return to the Farming of the Quartz!

Until next time!! 😊

That bridge is too stylish haha, I would rate it as a good construction.

Thanks! πŸ˜„ I'm quite proud of that bridge, haha. It does look really nice! I wasn't too sure about making it out of pink wood, but it turned out quite good.

The pink wood was the best option in my opinion hahaha,

Once I've played Minicraft in Neoxian City Craft server. It looked tough to me because Zoombies killed me. Anyway I learned how to build new houses and farms. This game is really fun and you are enjoying it a lot.

Haha, yes, zombies can be quite the menace sometimes! It's a great game. Like lego but better. πŸ˜ƒ

You are very brave to be able to play this game with the maximum difficulty, if I'm not mistaken even the animals become hostile, I am very funny about the look on the sheep's face with your texture pack, good luck

On hardcore mode, all the mobs stay what they're supposed to be. πŸ™‚ Passive mobs are still passive, hostile ones are still hostile. But they deal a lottt more damage!

The texture pack I use is fantastic! xD The animals especially!!

I love this series, it's like my everyday novel as it gets more and more interesting plus the suspense kills me, I don't want you to get killed, but I can't help but imagine a tragic and crazy death, I hope it doesn't happen after a long time. keep it up, you're doing great!(◍‒ᴗ‒◍)✧*。
