Retrospect of my life journey //science of self review//

Hello friends, I'm excited to share my experience with you all again and the prompt for this week is such a great one that I couldn't pass by. This week #scifimultiverse promt gave me time to really think and weigh the decisions I've made so far.

I believe we all have the power to make or change certain situations in our lives for the better. I remember when I lost my father at a very tender age, things turned sour for my family and I made the decision to go live with my cousins. I knew it would be a difficult journey to survive there, but I saw a bigger picture and was ready to endure what ever turbulent situation comes my way.

Yes, it took me years of dedication, savings and networking but I achieved my goal of furthering my education. Being in school didn't stop me from looking out for other goals to achieve, I wanted good grades and I didn't want an extra year in school so I had to put in extra effort to avoid an extra year in school and paying more fees.

I worked during school break to save up money for my fees and I paid up with my savings and support from some friends and today I'm a graduate.

Some people are fortunate to have advisers and people who guide their every step, the truth is I had few people who where really concerned about my personal growth, one of them was the one who encouraged me to take my first Jamb, I will forever remain grateful to this friend who helped me see the importance of education.

I had a dream of becoming a banker but was offered a different course in the university, looking back, I'm grateful for the course I studied because it shaped who I am today. So far, I've learnt that anyone can achieve whatever they desire but with hard work and determination.

When life throws the unexpected to us, turn it into something useful, make a good situation out of it no matter how little the positive result is, with time we will be grateful for not giving up.

A lot of people in the society have dreams they wish to achieve, but the honest truth is that their efforts does not equate with their goals. Some are restricted by family backgrounds and financial status. Some need others to encourage them to make that bold step, while some blame others for their misfortunes.

CONCLUSION
When you know that your life is in your hands and that whatever decision one makes now can have huge impact in our lives in the future, should move us not to give up easily but to continue chasing our dreams and not stopping until it is achieved.

This is my response to the #scifimultiverse #smp-w10 prompt.
