Phone photography contest #81 - Happy Customer Service Week

Hi everyone, I hope we are doing great and safe. I've missed sharing my good vibes experiences that make me #feelgood, and I'm glad to be active again after a one month break. So something happened today. I've seen post from random people on Hive talking about customer service week and how they got nothing from visiting their bank. I was supposed to do some transactions yesterday, but I got back from work late and couldn't meet up. I decided to go to the bank today for my transactions instead. When I stepped out of the house, the sun was blazing hot and fiercely scorching like it was angry. I wanted to go back, but I remembered that the transactions were important.

I finally got to the bank, and the first thing that came to mind was, I need to cool off in the air-condition before doing any transaction

I rested a bit and then went straight to the self-service computer where I did most of my transactions. While on it, I was offered some sweets and told "happy customer service week." I took the sweets and thanked the giver. I noticed one of the staff meeting with some of the customers and requesting their numbers. I didn't know what was going on, so I decided to mind my transactions and went for cash deposits.

I decided to ask the cashier what the bank was giving to celebrate customers, and she said. "didn't they collect your number?" I was surprised as no one approached me. She gave me a wink and prompted me to request my share of the national cake.

I approached the lady in charge and asked why she didn't give me my gift. She apologized and said it was an oversight and that it was a raffle and it's finished. I wasn't ready to hear all that, I told her to get me my own gift because I deserve it, and besides, I just did a huge transaction of over a million, so I should be appreciated.

She spoke to her manager, and I was sent my own gift. I was happy not just because of the token given by the bank but because the feeling of being appreciated and valued is what made me #feelgood.
