Hello friends how are you doing today, I hope you are fine.
How's the weather in your country at this time? The weather in my country this period is in between cold and warm.

We are in harmathan period in Nigeria. Harmathan is a period of time when the air is usually dry and cold especially during the early hours of morning and late at night and very hot during the day. It is also usually dusty during harmathan and not a good time to set fire in bushes.

In villages, we've heard of widespread fire which is as a result of farmers setting fire to clear their bushes and not managing it well. Fire incidences is usually common during harmathan season because at that period of time, the leaves are very dry and makes it easier for fire to spread.
Because of this, farmers are advised to avoid setting fire during harmathan season and if they must, a perimeter must be set to stop fire from spreading. This way, the fire will be managed well and damages will be few or totally eradicated.

For me I like harmathan season because of how it makes the cool and calm, sweating and rashes is reduced because of the calm weather.

Another reason is because my clothes get dry on time, I can decide to wash today and still put on the cloth on same day because they get dry faster due to the harmathan.

So I took a long stroll this afternoon to visit a sick friend after work and I picked so many dirt wraps littered on the road side and bush path. I took the dirt with me and trashed it when I got to her place.

Ofcos she wondered why I would pick dirt on the road, and I used the opportunity to tell her about #hive and it's various wonderful communities that she can be part of.
