Anticipating our First Hive Meetup in Lagos State

Holla friends, I bring to you good news about hive adoption and growth in Nigeria, with emphasis on Lagos State.
Hurray, our first #Hive meet-up will be help in Lagos, and it is sponsored by #spendhbd.

Majorly, the growth of hive community was impacted with a positive result through the #spendhbd project, which has lead to wider adoption and on-boarding of talented people who has contributed in one way or the other to the growth of #Hive through the activities they engage in within the different communities.

Amazingly, it will keep getting better when we get more knowledge about the ecosystem, improve the creation of quality content, through engagement for more visibility and most importantly, create more hive awareness by telling more people about hive and the beautiful of it's decentralized system, sharing our contents on web2 platforms that would direct them to hive with just a click.

There's actually a number of contests going on for hive awareness, we can participate to show our support for the community. I participated in the #posh context and honestly, it was fun. Thanks to #hiveposh for the context and to all the pioneers.

The hive meet-up is also a way of creating awareness for #hive and the #spendhbd community as well and effort was made by the local guide @beauty197 to put everything together. We had to reschedule a number of times before we finally agreed on a date that is okay for the hivers. (Lagos is actually the most busiest city in Nigeria)

So far, so good....looking forward to an educative meet-up where everyone can learn how to grow on hive, creating meaningful contents and learn to use most of the tool's available for a great content (There's actually a lot we don't know about hive).

Hopefully, the meet-up will also help those who have given up on hive come back to being consistent. It's also an opportunity to meet other hivers and learn from each other.
