Why Rules Matter – Even When They’re Tough.
Honestly, I believe that rules are there for a reason—they’re not just made to control us or make life hard. They're actually meant to guide us and keep everything organized. For instance, imagine a country where there were no rules at all. Everyone would just be doing whatever they wanted whenever they wanted, and that would definitely lead to chaos. There would be no structure, no order—just confusion. So, in that sense, I think rules help give life some direction. They act like a roadmap, especially in environments where many people have to live, work, or learn together.
If you were to ask me whether I personally think I should follow rules, my answer would be a straight-up yes. I mean, even though some rules can feel frustrating or unnecessary at times, I still believe they exist for a good reason. Take school, for example. Without rules, a lot of students could come in wearing anything, show up whenever they want, or even decide not to come to class at all. That kind of freedom might seem good at first, but then eventually, it would just lead to problems. No student would learn anything properly, and it would be hard for teachers to even teach or maintain any kind of control.
Now, I’ll admit—there are definitely moments when I find certain rules a bit too strict or difficult to follow. For instance, in school, one of the rules i don't like is the fact that we must put on tie with our shirt at all times. These particular rules don't always sit me, especially because of the fact that sometimes the weather would be very hot and i would be sweating vigorously. But then in those times, I sometimes try to find a way around them—not in a bad or disrespectful way, but just to make things a little easier for myself. I think that’s something a lot of people do now and then. But even then, I understand that rules are in place for the benefit of everyone, not just me. If every student started breaking the rules just because they were tough, things would quickly get out of hand.
So overall, even though I don’t think rules are always perfect or easy to follow, I still believe they’re important. They help shape our behaviour, teach us discipline, and prepare us for the outside world—because let’s be honest, rules are everywhere in life. Whether it’s at school, at home, or out in society, we need some kind of structure to keep everything moving smoothly. So yes, even with all the ups and downs, I believe in following rules.
Thanks for reading.
Indeed rules are very important in everything you do. Like you said for instance imagine a country where there is no rules at all, everyone would just be doing whatever they want and however they, and at the end of the day, the results might or will come out disasterous. Rules are very important in life. Thank you sharing.
