PSG Crowned Champions League Winners in Historic 5-0 Final Win Over Inter Milan.

Yesterday marked the end of this season’s UEFA Champions League, and what a shocking finale it was! Paris Saint-Germain lifted their first-ever UCL trophy in emphatic fashion, absolutely dismantling Inter Milan with a jaw-dropping 5-0 victory — the biggest margin of victory in a Champions League final in history.

To be honest, i predicted that PSG would win the final due to the way they fought hard throughout every stage of the tournament, but then i didn't think it would be that easy. No one could have predicted a result like this, especially considering how solid Inter Milan looked earlier in the tournament. Their performance against Barcelona in the semi-finals had many people convinced they were serious title contenders. But PSG came into this final with something different — hunger, unity, and undeniable brilliance.

From the first whistle, it was clear that they meant business. They dominated every department — midfield, attack, and even their defensive shape was spot on. It wasn’t just one or two players turning up; every single PSG player showed up for this final. The intensity, the pressing, the calmness on the ball… it was beautiful football.

It was actually the best right back in football "Achraf Hakimi" that gave his team the lead in the 12th minute, but then he didn't celebrate to show respect to his former club.

However, amongst all the standout performances, one player stole the show — Desire Doué. The 19-year-old forward played like a seasoned veteran on the biggest stage in club football and deservedly walked away with the Player of the Match award. His control, vision, and work rate were unbelievable. At just 19, he’s already stamping his name as a future superstar and a frontrunner for this year’s Golden Boy award, ahead of names like Lewis Skelly and Pau Cubarsi

Another player who deserves massive praise is Ousmane Dembélé. He has been outstanding all season and capped it off with a top display in the final by securing two assists. With PSG winning the quadruple this season — Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Trophee des Champions, and now the Champions League — Dembélé is surely a strong contender for the Ballon d’Or. Since performance and trophies are one of the strongest criteria for winning the award, I actually see no reason why he shouldn't be crowned the winner of the award.

What makes this PSG team even more special is how complete they looked. The midfield was dominant, the forwards were clinical, and the full-backs were just as involved both defensively and going forward. It felt like a team on a mission, and they executed it to perfection.

On the other side, Inter Milan played awful. There was literally no fight, no urgency, and it was shocking to see a team in a Champions League final perform that poorly. Personally, i felt barcelona would have been a much better side to face this PSG super team. The referee didn’t even bother adding any extra time — that’s how one-sided and humiliating the match was.

I watched the game from my school, and honestly, I’m still in shock. It was a performance for the ages, and PSG have surely written their name in the history books. With the form they’re in, don’t be surprised if they sweep every major award this year — even the Best Goalkeeper Award could be heading their way.

This was more than a final — it was a statement. PSG are here, and they are not slowing down anytime soon.

Thanks for reading.
