My advice to those in abusive relationships.

An abusive relationship is a situation where one partner seeks to gain and maintain power and control over the other partner through various means, which can include physical violence, emotional manipulation, threats and other harmful behaviour.

An abusive relationship is not good for your mental and emotional wellbeing. Infact,it will only drain you and make you miserable.

My advice to the people in abusive relationships is simple, leave and never look back . A person or partner that really loves and respects you won't think of raising is hand at you or abuse you.

I know it might be hard at times to leave this kind of abusive relationships when you have dug in deep and you are deeply in love with your partner but please let this love fade away, and think with your head not your heart.

There have been several cases of married women that have lost their lives in their various marriages after constantly been abused by their partners.

There was a gospel female singer who was popularly known in Nigeria for her great voice and music her name was "Osinachi Nwachukwu". She was always beaten by her husband, but she never voiced out, spoke about it or seek for help to the public ,she was kept all this to herself because she probably didn't want the public and the people to know what she was going through , as she was a celebrity. She really did spoke to her family about the way he was treating her from which they adviced her to leave the marriage,but she was a very religious person and she believed God is against divorce.

Now,in 2022 she lost her live from the domestic abuse , and it was then the news suffaced publicly and people had the chance to know what really took her life and what she had been going through.

This news really went viral and caused a dilemma in the country as it brought alot of sadness and sorrows to the hearts of her fans and to all the people of Nigeria . The story to her death was a really painful and sad one.

Yeah, after series of investigations her husband was arrested and taken into police custody, but at the end of they she gave up the ghost which might have been avoided if she had decided to leave the marriage or reported to the expected authorities in the country to help her out.

Divorce is a sin according to the Bible I know , but still if you feel you are not happy or treated right in your marriage seek for help from a counsellor or the right authorities to see if the marriage can still work , and if after many counselling and advice your partner still doesn't treat you right, don't hesitate to call it off or go your own way and be free. You may still be staying in your marriages or consider staying in your marriage because of the kids you have for your partner or because you want them to grow with both of their parents which is fine,but that is still not an enough reason for you still wait and suffer, you can allow the kids to be visiting their fathers sometimes which is alright,you just need to be free and that's it.

You are wonderfully and beautifully made and you deserve the best things in the world,you dont deserve to be treated badly by another person who might not even deserve you. It's better to be single and happy without problems than to be with a partner you are not safe with or doesn't give you peace of mind. You might be a mother of a child or two kids ,don't worry your kids will grow to become whatever you ever imagined and wished they would become. Who knows, you might even meet another better partner that would be willing to treat you well like the Kings and Queens you are , make sacrifices for you and also take good care of your kids and be a father figure to them.

Lastly, Please and please stay away from any abusive relationship and voice out ,don't try to keep it to yourself or keep expecting your partner to change because he might not, and even if he thinks of changing, it might be too late and you might have given up the ghost.
