From Transactions to Notifications: My Positive Experience with Ecency.

I’ve been using both the Ecency web app and the Ecency mobile app since last year, and honestly, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Each version of Ecency serves its own purpose for me, and together they’ve made my time on Hive much easier, more enjoyable, and more rewarding.

Most times, I use the web app mainly for transactions. I find it faster and more convenient whenever I want to trade my tokens, especially when I’m moving from HBD to Hive. The process is smooth and straightforward. If I ever need to transfer tokens, I usually prefer doing it through the web app, too, because it just feels easier and more reliable there. I don’t have to stress too much about delays or glitches, and that level of smoothness is something I really appreciate because it saves me a lot of time.

On the other hand, the mobile app has its own role in my routine. That’s where I usually handle my posting and engagement. Whenever I want to share my writing, I just open the app, draft my post, and publish it directly. It’s very convenient because I don’t need to sit in front of a laptop or look for a bigger screen to express myself. I can be anywhere—maybe at home relaxing or even on the move—and I’ll still be able to post with ease. Apart from posting, I also use the mobile app to upvote posts and interact with other people’s content.

One of the things I love most about Ecency is the way it keeps me informed. The notification system is one of a kind. It tells me everything that’s happening around my account in detail. For example, if someone gives me just a 1% upvote, I’ll see it. If someone transfers even as low as 0.01 Hive to me, I get notified instantly. Even if someone downvotes me, Ecency won’t hide it—it will show me clearly. That level of transparency is something I haven’t really seen on other Hive interfaces, and I value it a lot.

Sometimes, I could just be by myself, not even thinking about Hive, and then my phone will buzz with a notification: “Someone has voted on your post.” Honestly, those little moments bring me so much joy. In fact, there are times when the notification makes me remember, “Oh, I haven’t posted anything today—I need to get something out.” That alone keeps me consistent and motivated.

Another feature I deeply admire about Ecency is how well it handles large image uploads. There have been many times when I tried uploading a big picture through other means, and it just wouldn’t go through. But once I switch to Ecency, the upload goes smoothly without stress. I honestly don’t know the magic behind it, but I’m always grateful because it saves me a lot of frustration.

And of course, I can’t forget about the Ecency points system. Every little engagement counts—whether I’m posting, commenting, or voting - I get points. Over time, these points add up, and I can use them to promote my posts. That feature is super useful because it helps me reach a wider audience without having to spend Hive or HBD.

All in all, my experience with Ecency has been really positive. The combination of the web app and the mobile app makes everything easier, from transactions to posting to staying updated. The notifications, the reliability with images, and the points system are just a few of the things that make Ecency stand out to me.

Thanks for reading.
