Your point on 'your opponent always has a weakness and you should capitalize on it'.
I strongly agree with you. It's one of the basis I learnt but it's funny how you get carried away in moving pieces that you forget the simple and basic fundamentals of chess .

I have watched players like Odonobarz and he uses this tactic. His moves are so simple, it's nothing extravagant but he's able to find that weakness in your development structure and capitalize on it.
