Crypto platform FalconX partners with Standard Chartered

FalconX, a cryptocurrency prime brokerage, has formed a strategic partnership with global banking institution Standard Chartered to serve institutional cryptocurrency investors. This marks FalconX's first collaboration with a major traditional bank, reflecting growing institutional interest in digital assets through conventional financial channels.

The partnership will leverage Standard Chartered's banking and foreign exchange capabilities, including access to a wide range of currencies, to enhance FalconX's services for institutional clients such as asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices etc. This collaboration aims to enable more efficient fiat currency settlements, resulting in faster transactions, improved capital efficiency, and reduced operational risks.

The initiative will initially launch in Singapore, with plans to expand into other markets across Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. Standard Chartered has been actively expanding its digital asset offerings, including digital asset custody services and partnerships to allow institutional clients to use cryptocurrencies as collateral.

This partnership represents a significant step in bridging traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem by combining FalconX's crypto prime brokerage expertise with Standard Chartered's established banking infrastructure.
