Can Hive compete with Reddit?
Hive can compete with Reddit particularly due to its decentralized nature and crypto reward system.
While Reddit excells in organization of content through subreddits the focus of Hive is on niche communities and incentivizes content creation through upvotes.
However, compared to Reddits structured format, content discovery of Hive can be less intuitive which hinder user engagement.
Hive has the potential to establish a sizable niche in the social media market as it expands and draws users interested in blockchain technology, particularly those looking for alternatives to traditional platforms like Reddit.
Hive operates on blockchain technology, allowing for community governance and reducing reliance on centralized moderation which can be helpful in making a more democratic decision.
As Hive is decentralized, it gives users a greater say in governance of the platform and content moderation which is on contrast to Reddit's centralized approach.
However, Reddit has registered users around 83 millions, while Hive is still growing making it less visible and engaging for new users.
Subreddits on Reddit also is a feature that facilitate easier content discovery. Reddit also has a long standing reputation and a diverse community which attracts a wide range of discussions and content.
It's me, @justmythoughts, an ordinary Hive user looking to make the most of the platform. I will appreciate your support. Follow me for more. Thanks, Gracias :)

Could Reddit adopt Hive in the backend and users can reward each other for valuable content? That's another interesting question.
