Binance to rollout crypto payments and blockchain education programs in Kyrgyzstan

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has entered into a strategic partnership with Kyrgyzstan’s National Agency for Investments, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in early May 2025. The collaboration is endorsed by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and is set to accelerate the country’s digital transformation and crypto adoption.

Binance will introduce its contactless crypto payment solution, Binance Pay, enabling residents, businesses, and visitors to send, receive, and spend a variety of cryptocurrencies for everyday transactions.

The rollout aims to streamline cross-border transactions within Kyrgyzstan and across Central Asia and the Eurasian Economic Union, positioning the country as a regional leader in digital finance.

Merchants will be able to accept crypto payments, facilitating smoother financial flows and promoting financial inclusion.

Binance will collaborate with local institutions to deliver free training courses on blockchain, virtual assets, and cybersecurity. These programs target government employees, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and the general public.

The initiative aims to increase digital literacy, prepare a crypto-ready workforce, and empower citizens to participate in the global Web3 economy.

Binance will provide support for local Web3 entrepreneurs, offering training, mentorship, and incubation to drive digital enterprise development and foster innovation in blockchain sector.

The partnership aligns with Kyrgyzstan’s recent legal steps to launch a central bank digital currency (CBDC), further advancing the nation’s digital financial infrastructure.

This partnership is expected to drive economic growth, enhance financial inclusion, and position Kyrgyzstan as a hub for blockchain innovation in Central Asia. By integrating crypto payments, advancing blockchain education, and supporting local startups, Binance and Kyrgyzstan are laying the foundation for a digitally empowered and resilient economy.
