When Life Presses Hard

Life is not a bed of roses. If it were, we would all be putting on happy faces every hour of the day. If life were a bed of roses, we would have no reason to worry about disappointments, heartbreaks, sufferings, and all other complexities that come with life. One thing about life is that some find it very easy. They were probably born into wealthy families and don’t have to worry about their needs and wants. All they need to do is ask for the things they desire.
On the other hand, there are those who find it difficult to do life. They are constantly in a battle with life, facing every pressure it brings. For people like this, life can become so demanding and draining that they might start thinking of doing the unthinkable.
Life pushes people to the extent that they might start considering taking their own lives. Have you ever been in a situation where things are not going your way and you just wish to disappear? Maybe you need money to settle your bills but everything you do to make money isn’t working out. At that point, you just wish that the world could end so the suffering would end too.
Life comes with difficulties and pressures and most times, it takes a lot for us to handle these challenges. This brings me to the Sci-fi multiverse prompt for this week. The title is: Managing life’s pressures. How do you deal with life’s pressures? What do you do when you are faced with life’s difficulties?
I have come to realize that in life, we cannot always depend on our strength because sometimes it will fail us. Of course, we have to put our creator first and bank on His strength. I also believe that the people around us are God’s messengers who are there to help us in our times of need.
Talk to someone. Of course, I am not saying you should go around telling people your life’s problems. Rather, I am saying that whenever life comes at you with full force and you start thinking and worrying and you feel like there is no way out, share your problem with someone. It doesn’t even have to be a friend. It could be someone whom you barely talk to. Just do that to get things off your chest. Remember that a problem shared is half solved.
In today’s world, the rate of suicide keeps increasing every day. People are going through so much and sometimes it is difficult to tell. But taking your life is not an option. As long as there is life, there is still hope. So, I will always say this; whenever life puts its weight on you, share your problems with others. They might not be able to solve them, but hopefully, they will help release the weight somehow. This is one of the strategies I use to deal with life’s pressures.
It took a lot for me to start opening up to people. I had to learn how to do that. Thankfully, I have people in my life who I can confide in whenever life starts getting difficult or unbearable.

This is very deep. In today's world, every one is pretending to be busy but we are actually not doing anything. Depression is real and talking to someone helps. Thank you for sharing
