Unleashing Your Financial Voice

This edition of Zealy contest has gone beyond claiming quests, increasing your experience points and overtaking people on the leaderboard. Of course, it is fun to do these things, but there’s more to this contest than the quests. The past few days have been amazingly awesome. It has been filled with insights and I’ve learnt a lot of things about finance, Hive, Hivefest and other aspects. This past week, I’m glad to have been able to connect with insightful and brilliant hosts who shared their wisdom and experience with me (and of course, other members of the Zealy contest). On this note, I appreciate taskmaster for the good job he has done in the past few days. He is a very brilliant and insightful host. The best there is. With taskmaster out there as your host, be rest assured that you’d surely learn a lot of things. It is truly amazing how he’s able to answer so many questions. He’s like a walking dictionary. Ask Taskmaster a question. Try to make it difficult, you’ll be surprised that he’d break it down and answer your questions to your satisfaction.

In one of the shows, Taskmaster said something about writing financial posts. According to him, a lot of people out there are scared to post in leofinance community because they think writing financial posts is hard and it is something they cannot venture into. I could relate to what he said, because I was once like that. When I joined hive newly, I was a scaredy cat who would always run away from writing posts about finance. I could go days writing prompts, book reviews, short stories and other genres, but financial posts just was not my thing. The truth is, I knew I would be able to write financial posts well, I was just scared to start. Plus, I did not know when and how to start.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

I know there are so many hivers out there that believe financial posts are not meant for them, relax because you’re alone. In my opinion, the primary reason why people are holding back on writing financial posts is because they are new to crypto. Let’s use this scenario as a case study: who the think would do better in writing financial posts: a man that is born into the crypto world and has been a part since he was young or a man that has been in darkness all his life and just got to know about the cryptocurrency world a week ago. Definitely, the former would do well when it comes to writing financial posts. This is because he has lots of experiences and writing about them wouldn’t be a problem for him.

RELAX, IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL

Relax! It is not a big deal. Writing financial posts is not as difficult as you think. You don’t have to dive deep into the sea. You can start off by talking about the things you do on the blockchain. The little financial things you do on the blockchain also counts. To help you start off, here are some topic ideas.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO INCREASE YOUR HIVE POWER?

It is not doubt that the importance of hive power cannot be overemphasized. Not only do you earn curation reward from having high hive power, you also help other hivers by grow by voting their works thereby improving the development of the blockchain. What strategies do you use to increase your hive power? What are the importance of having hive power? What are benefits of peering up. These are some of the things you can talk about.

TOKENS
0D437F10-D115-4D74-98DD-FD432AE8151A.gif

There are so many tokens on hive blockchain. Tokens on Hive can be traded, staked, powered up, or used for various purposes within the platform. Why do you stake tokens? What token do you plan on holding ? What are benefits of holding a particular token. One of the tokens I plan on accumulating is BRO token. Which token do you plan on accumulating. I’m sure you agree with me that scrambling some words and writing on these topics wouldn’t be so difficult.

You see? It is not as hard as you think. If you don’t feel like writing about the financial aspects of the blockchain, you can write about financial situations of your country. Are you battling inflation? What are the benefits of saving? What are the benefits of opportunity cost? The list goes on and on.

Ah man, you just said what I struggled once. Writing financial post was a real problem for me when I was new to hive and when I tried to write, the experience was not very well.

I would say your post is the bestest.

Keep up the good work.
