The Struggle Of Staying Committed
Commitment, hard work, and determination are three key ingredients to a successful life. They all work together. To master one, you have to master all. It takes a lot to be committed, hard-working, and determined. The importance of commitment cannot be overemphasized. Some of the importance of commitment is that it helps us stay focused on our goals, dreams, and aspirations, and also to overcome whatever challenge life throws our way.
If you're aiming for the sky (or the moon, whichever suits you best), it is pertinent that you develop the spirit of commitment. Commitment is an ingredient. Just like salt adds taste to our meals, commitment is also an ingredient that adds taste to our lives. Commitment has proven to be useful in different fields whether it is in relationships, life, work, or in a family. One of the reasons why I love and value Cristisno Ronaldo is because he is a committed person. Commitment flies through his veins and body, and this is visible in his success. Cristiano Ronaldo grew up in a poor background. However, he was committed and determined to achieve his goals. Today, he is regarded as one of the best football players in history.
Sometimes, staying committed to something can be really difficult. As I mentioned above, it takes a lot to be committed. Whether it is in a relationship, job, or other aspect, staying committed can be really hard. There will be times when your strength gets tested. Sometimes, you fight with all you've got, and other times, there is nothing to do about it.
Looking back, I don't think I have ever been involved in a project where my commitment got tested. However, I have been in a series of situations where my commitment level got tested. Here we go:This happened a few years after I graduated from secondary school. My brother opened a gym and I started working as a Secretary there. Before that time, I had no interest in working out. Of course, I liked the idea of being fit. I grew up watching Henry Cavil’s movies. I grew up watching movies where the actors are muscular and huge. Sometimes I even imagine myself in their bodies.
After about 2 months of working in the gym, some of the gym members whom I was close to, managed to convince me to start working out. They claimed that I’d get the result I wanted in less than 6 months. Prior to that time, all I ever did in the gym was to sit down and watch people do their thing. However, I wanted to change that part of me, so I decided to start working out. How hard could it be?
It was hard! Really hard! Honestly, those gym guys are really trying. After about two weeks of working out, I gave up. My friends (the same people who advised me to start working out) convinced me to start working out again. But, after a few minutes, I gave up, and never returned to it again.

Anyway I think it is real good to be motivated by someone like ronaldo.
In my opinion I think what fuels us is commitment. The method of showing up everyday no matter how little the effort is really helps us a lot. In the end you'll realize that it will take you real far.
