The Pressure To Confirm
Societal pressure refers to expectations imposed on individuals by society. For example, values are behaviors cherished by society. Of course, values are positive subjects, but in my society, they are imposed on individuals. Societal pressure is reflected in different forms and can be visible in the world today. It places pressure on individuals and sometimes may result in suicide.
Societal pressure affects people of different ages grades and statuses. For example, one aspect of societal pressure is the pressure to succeed academically. Not only does this aspect of social pressure affect kids, but also students at all levels of education i.e. primary schools, secondary schools, and tertiary institutions. It is to be noted that in most societies, the level of brilliance or likelihood of success is evaluated on the basis that one excels brilliantly in studies. According to society, to excel in life, one must excel in school. People who go against this “supposed rule” are seen as dullards and a menace to society. This kind of pressure results in unhealthy competition, and the feeling of inadequacy which may result in suicide.
One of the most significant and harmful forms of societal pressure is the expectation that people should be in a relationship or married by a certain age. This societal pressure is like a parasite leeching on people from within. Society has placed an unrealistic standard and individuals are doing everything in their people to meet these “absurd” standards. These standards have resulted in cases of stress, suicide, and unhealthy relationships. Society pushes individuals to get married at a certain age. Who made it a rule for people to get married by a certain age? What if they don’t want to? It definitely isn’t a sin, so why the pressure? Shouldn’t society be concerned about one’s happiness?
The world we live in today is materialistic. There is a societal pressure to achieve financial success/ to get rich quickly. This societal pressure is mainly on the main gender. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying the female gender isn’t facing this pressure, but it is high on the other gender. Today, many people, especially youths, are in a rat race to achieve financial success. They believe that money is everything- happiness, freedom, and every other thing. It is to be noted that societal pressure can come from any angle, even family and friends. People want to make money quickly and the terrible thing about it is that they are not even worried about the consequences of the actions they take. They want to make money quickly, whether it is legal or legal. Today, we see lots of people doing prostitution, armed robbery, internet scams, and so on. One of the main reasons why they do this is because they are being pressured by their friends to make money. I school in an environment where people drive big cars and wear expensive wristwatches and big clothes. Of course, it is natural to feel jealous and desire these things. However, it is important to channel your mind not to bend to societal issues.
In all truth and sincerity, it is pretty hard not to bend to societal pressures. However, I have come to realize that these things are necessary. The best thing to do is just do your thing.

The pressure to have a lot of money is widespread. It seems to be a thermometer that many people use to measure success, worth, importance of something, diverting from the most important things in life, which many times are not tangible. Cheer up! We must resist this pressure. Greetings @justfavour

The way of meeting the rich man of this world is very good and no one respects the poor man, that's why we see that the poor man goes into depression because he has a long time to succeed. Time is needed and this world does not give it time by talking and keeps making Lough of it.
