S1R21: My Favourite Game

I remember the first week when this tournament started like it was yesterday. Saturday Hivechess tournament round one was such a blast that I vowed not to ever miss a tournament. I was so certain I would keep the vow and I did for more than 13 rounds. Life has an interesting way of making things happen. For the very first time, I missed the Saturday Hive Chess. Of course, I wanted to be there. I wanted to actively participate, but considering my situation, I couldn’t even if I wanted to. Currently, I am in a place where I can’t do whatever I want. I am a caged bird and I only get to do whatever my parents want. The most painful part is that I will be here for the next 16 days. Which means I will probably miss the next 2 rounds of the Saturday Hive Chess tournament. Well, unless a miracle happens.

It is great to see that the Saturday Hive chess is still going smoothly and I thank our Host for that. A big congratulations to the winners and everyone who participated in today’s tournament. About 30 minutes ago, I reviewed some games that really impressed and shocked me. In this post, I will share my favourite game of the night. There might be other better games, but for good reasons, this particular one stands out best for me.

@justola1 VS Odnoobraz_bcm

Biggest upset! Biggest shocker! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that Justola won against the night Odnoobraz. Don’t quote me wrong, Justola is a very strong and good player, but Odnoobraz is on another level. He is a beast. Justola and I used to talk about how brutal and ruthless he is in chess.

I don’t know if it was luck or grace or whatever, but Justola played well and he won.

After analyzing the game, I realized that maybe Odnoobraz would have won if he hadn’t beserked, but he did (which is very normal of him), whatever the reason may be, we cannot overlook the fact that Justola gave him a hard time.
