Finding Harmony: How I Make Time For Work While Focusing On School
The world we live in is of great inequality where some people easily get what they want while others struggle to make a living. Do you think the world would be a better place if people struggled less to make a living? I mean, do you think things would be better if people didn't have to work their brains off before making a penny? Life can be a struggle, while some people work for several hours doing strenuous jobs just to make a living and put food on their tables, others find it very easy. For many people, making a living can be a real tug of war. They struggle to pay bills, they work for long hours, and at the end of the day, the money never seems to go around. But for others, making a living comes easily. I guess they are just lucky or fate is on their side.
Now, back to my question. Do you think the world would be better if people struggled less to make a living? How about I pitch it this way; do you think the world would be a better place if people were rewarded (in the form of wages or salary) based on the efforts they put in their work? For example, a teacher who works from 8 am to 5 pm will get better pay than a person who works just for 2 hours. Although I know this also has pitfalls, I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
My point is; that in life, so many people struggle so hard to make a living. So many people here on the blockchain cannot rely on their jobs. I don’t know about other countries, but I’m pretty sure 60% of Nigerians on this blockchain are not getting paid enough money. Thanks to Hive and other online businesses, people have been able to sort their bills and make a living out of what they do. Besides blogging on Hive, a lot of people have other jobs. What job do you do?
There's something about working with your hands that can be very satisfying. When you build something with your own two hands, you can accomplish something. There’s this sense of pride that flows in my veins when I do something rather than wait for someone to help me out. Growing up, I learnt how to not rely on others for my wants and sometimes, needs. that you might not get from other types of work. Shortly after I graduated from secondary school, I started working in an elementary school. This explains how much I love being independent.
Being a student while also earning an income can be a real challenge, especially if your studies are wise and stressful. However, I have found a way to make it work through your blogging on the Hive blockchain. Currently, I don’t have a job outside the world of Hive blockchain. Blogging on Hive is my only source of income. Definitely, after graduating from the university, I have big plans to make things work out well.
Balancing school activities and Hive can be a real juggling act, especially when your course load is wide and demanding. Imagine reading and analyzing more than 40 novels and 40 poems in a semester! It takes a lot of discipline and self-motivation to strike a balance between work and Hive. Last semester, I didn’t pay enough attention to my studies, instead, I focused more on Hive. It affected my grades and that was when I learned not to make a part of me suffer because of another. Currently, my “studies” are what I do for a living and I have realized that it is best I give it the attention it deserves.
Thanks for reading.

Reading through this all that kept ringing in my head was "There is time for everything"!!!. Trying to do everything all at the same time is never favourable to so many, Just few.
I'm glad you've realized this is your time to give your studies the most of you because there is going to come a time when you don't have to study so much.
I know when you are done with school you'd definitely have something nice to do outside blogging and I hope to be here to witness that 🥰.
Hello there, Hope. It is great to see you stop by. Yes, this sums up everything/ there's time for everything. Before I gained admission into the university, I worked as a teacher, a secretary in a gym, and a manager in a bathing saloon. That period was for me to gain experience. Although I try to balance Hive and my studies, I still pay more attention to the latter because that's the most important.
Do you think you'll have time for Hive when you resume?
Wow, that was so much you did before you got admission, quite intriguing 😃.
Oh yeah, your studies comes first because I believe Hive will always be here 🥰.
I will but not as much as I do now.
Yeah. It is important to balance both.
I just hope that you make good use of your talent in school.
Yeah, I also hope so too 🥰
I don’t think the world would be a better place if people got rewarded according to their works
I just think it would be better if there was equity not equality
Because people are receiving rewards they don’t even need while the real ones who need them are not receiving them
You are right, Abenad.
Sometimes, it can feel unfair when people who don't necessarily need the rewards receive them, while others who truly need them miss out. Striving for a more equitable system can help address these concerns.

I can feel you , it is not an easy task to do multiple things at same time. You are doing great with your studies and hive at the same time. Keep up the good work and make a balance ⚖️ things go easy after a while. Good luck with your studies.
Thank you so much, Bhatt. It is not easy, but I’m pushing it. I’ve got this!
Welcome 😁. Do your best I am sure you will achieve what you need. Have a great day and week ahead 💐
Thank you so much for stopping by. I really appreciate. Have a great week ahead.

I agreed with you teacher many people are struggling for hours to get food on their tables. The economy is collapsing for the developing countries day by day. Here in my country even well educated person have to struggle to get a job with 100$. I'm also a student and not earning currently in real life so I can understand what you face. Managing studies along with blogging is juggling but it's a way to earn something for us now that's why we have set schedule for both studies and blogging.
Hello there, Smart boy. Again, you show me that you are really a smart boy. It is disheartening to see the economy of the country in this state. I hope that things will change for the better in future.
When I was a student, I was never identified as one because I was always working. It's good you are even able to find your balance and not let studies suffer
The best thing is to find balance. Thank you so much for stopping by.
I was less consistent with my hive activities when I was still in school, which really affected my hive growth significantly but I understood the fact that it was a necessary sacrifice I have to make. So when you talk about balancing school activities and work especially hive related activities, it is no easy feat.
Hello there, Emrys. Honestly, it is not easy to balance both at all. It takes determination, consistency and hard work.
Yeah I know, have been through it.
Going by the number of novels and poems that you estimated, it is obvious that it takes a great deal of discipline to balance such an academic demand with anything else. However, you just have to because your hive activities helps to cater for other things in one way or the other.
It is good that the 'distraction' is for something valuable. During my time as a student, I was distracted by web2 activities that served me no purpose.
Hello there, lightpen. It is great to see you stop by. Oh! Web2 activities? I stay away from them. They can be a great distraction.
