It's certainly not funny, but I had to laugh. If only is all I can say. You almost had it all. I feel really bad for mom and brother. I can imagine their shock. But then, "oh well."

We have a saying, "don't count your chickens before they hatch." And that's exactly what happened to me one time before I discovered my error. I had to go lie down!

Luved your attitude about the entire episode. I would have been planning my retirement home in the islands.
