Interesting, so you can increase DPI on a low DPI file? Talking about art or tips for artists is totally fine but it's always nice to have some eye candy in the post 😉

Yes you can increase DPI/PPI. Usually the option is found under a Scaling, or Scale Image option of an image editing program, if you are just lo0king to edit one or two images at a time. If you use the "resample" or "resample the image" option it can mess up your image, so I'd stay away from it unless you know you need it. Stick to increasing the DPI/PPI of an image without resampling and you should get better prints. DPI wont matter with monitor viewing so if you arent printing, selling images to be printed, or having something printed, it usually wont matter. One of the printers I work with actually does it for you, so with them I can skip a step.
"DPI converter has the option to "resample the image", when this option is set, your image will change in size according to the DPI specified in it.
For example, you had an image of 300DPI and 46 inches (12001800 pixels).
If you set it to 72DPI, the image size in centimeters will not change, but the size will change in pixels (it will be 288 * 432 pixels)."
