Stop ranting on social media in the name of religion
My opinion why I think you should stop ranting on social media in the name of religion - My experience on WhatsApp
I think you'll have to read through first, before jumping into conclusions, so you won't end up like the protagonist in this story. Few days back, I made a post "MY ROLE MODEL CONCEIVED BEFORE MARRIAGE" little preview on my WhatsApp status as usual and for those that hb been reading my contents wll know that my role model here represents Mary (the mother of Jesus).
Just in case you didn't get the message. While going through my DM (comments) on my status upload, I was astonished by a particular guy's response. I looked at the response, read it, read it again and again, and I began wondering "Why are people like this for goodness sake?". I concluded that, maybe the guy has issues with understanding simple english language.
To make it easier for him, I went to his DM because, I wanted to know why he has chosen to disgrace himself publicly. When I finally landed in his DM, I stated my mission and even gave him the opportunity to ask me questions, but guess what? This guy was forming 'sabi young minister' for me. I was like "really, tell me more daddy" (that was in my mind o).
! [His response read] His response read:
I can't understand that
Get edifying article and stop ranting on social media in the name of religion
That's not the mandate for the season oga
People go for indepth much, we need revelations that has solutions as a back up.
After reading this, I was literally rolling on the floor because, I was laughing so hard. Is the "oga" for me. See Rhema fah. God ooo.
At this point, I didn't even know what to do to this guy because, it's obvious he doesn't know and he doesn't want to know because, he feels he knows what I don't know. (I refuse to run out of rhema) I looked at it again, went back to the comment section and replied with an emoji.
It's not easy to meet a man of God that doesn't understand simple creative writing (lol). A day or two after, I then saw that a friend of mine replied to that particular comment, when I checked the comment, I could feel the butterflies in my belly jubilating. I was expecting this guy to respond ooo, so we would keep it moving, but I didn't see him again. Now, I didn't plan sharing this, but I felt a need to because, people really need to know that criticism doesn't come from unbelievers alone.
It comes from people who calls themselves believers but, pride wouldn't let them know they need help and so, they go about correcting people out of "I think I know better than him/her" mentality. Now, criticism sometimes isn't people's actual fault, it might be as a result of misunderstanding. Some persons doesn't understand simple terms. Some persons doesn't really understand what you're doing, so they judge from their own perspective. Let me tell you something,
No matter what you do in the confine will of God, you'll face criticism. For the fact that your actions are sincere and genuine, you'll face criticism. Refuse to be pulled down by criticism today. Make patience and silence your next-in-line action always. Silence is the best response to give to criticizers, when you keep mute, they lost their criticism power because, they feel you're proud and a proud person doesn't need to be criticized. Also, know that; Nobody rants on social media, it's either you don't like what the person is doing and it annoys you or, It's against your belief.
There are some things that makes a lot of sense to unbelievers, but will never make any sense to you, as a believer. It's all a thing of belief or perspective. I hope you've learnt something today, and even if you didn't, at least you sha read story. (Lol). For those who have been following, I appreciate the love you've been showing by your engagements and contributions.
We keep growing together.
God bless you abundantly.
I love you from my heart.
Hahaha 😂. I believe that he only said what he feels is correct. You know that saying - you can't give what you doing have. Some of these people I don't even waste time to respond because you can't turn a lizard to become a snack so easily.
Thanks for sharing
That's right and I guess I shouldn't have replied him. Well it is what it is I guess. Thanks so much @adaezeinchrist Your point makes lots of sense and I will look out for that.
Remain bless
when it comes to social media discussion, a lot of users lack comprehension and I feel it’s the urge to comment that makes them not to read thoroughly.
I guess so too because I don't see any other reason to why it is like that, Or maybe not just yet. Thanks so much @darkcarnage for stopping by, I hope to see you more. Hugs!
