I’ve Missed This Place, Life Update + Programming Journey

Hi everyone!

It’s been such a long time since I last posted here. Honestly, I’m not even sure where to begin, but one thing I know for sure is, I’ve missed this space so much. Hive used to be a place where I shared my thoughts freely and poured out whatever was on my mind. But life happened, and everything changed.

Over the past one year plus, I’ve been deep into learning programming, C# and .NET to be precise. It’s been intense! I didn’t really plan for it to consume this much of my time, but once I started, I just couldn’t stop. Every day brought a new challenge, a new bug to fix, and a new concept to understand. I found myself buried in tutorials, late-night debugging, and endless lines of code. It was honestly frustrating sometimes, but very fulfilling too.

I didn’t go to a tech school or anything like that, I’ve been self learning from scratch, and I’m honestly proud of how far I’ve come. It’s been over a year now and I can finally say that the effort is starting to pay off. I recently landed two jobs, one as an intern and the other as a general developer role. It still feels surreal even saying that. If you told me a year ago this would be possible, I’d probably have laughed.

That said, I know I’ve been away from Hive for so long and not as consistent as I used to be. I used to write so often and connect with so many people here. Writing has always been a passion for me, and it hurts a little that I had to step away for so long. But deep down, I know I still love it, and I don’t want that part of me to die.

I can’t really promise that I’ll be posting every day or even every week, but I’ll try. Even if it’s just once in a while. I want to slowly ease back into it, even if it’s just to write about my programming journey, the ups and downs, or just life updates in general.

If you’ve read this far, thank you! It means a lot. And if you’re someone who’s been feeling like life is moving too fast and you’re losing touch with your creative side, this is your sign to start again. No pressure, just little steps.

See you in the comments, and hopefully, in another post soon.

Do away from procrastination and embrace consistency.

Then all will be well

Hey dear, it is not procrastination, I practically went to upgrade myself and I came out all good with it as I am now a backend software developer. I am always going to be a hive girly, thank you so much for the encouragement, I will definitely keep post to impact, you are very kind!
