As you read this fictional storyline "A walk to the mortuary (facing your fears)" I hope you grab something out of it and be courageous to face your fears.

The thought of visiting the mortuary with the other family members made him almost lost his sanity. He had been afraid of visiting the mortuary right from when he lost his Dad. When he lost his Dad, he had visited the mortuary and since then, he could only imagine visiting again. Visiting was a "no, no" for him.

Peter had lost his uncle again. And since then, he became more afraid of death that he could only imagine how it really happens. Peter loved his uncle so much that he wished there was an opportunity to see him again. The thought of how life would become so difficult for him filled his heart.

Asides that, the thought of how he would visit the mortuary occupied the largest space in his heart, he felt like the ground would just open up and swallow him while he's deep asleep. When he woke up that morning, he sat at the edge of his bed, thinking about how he would walk into that morgue again.

As he approached the mortuary, his heart raced almost causing it to jump out of it's position. He paused at a point, took a deep breath and then, continued moving. He could feel the atmosphere breathing strangely, but he kept moving. He felt a chill down his spine as he made his way to his uncle's casket.

He stood there, staring at his uncle's body with tears rolling down his cheeks. He then began to imagine how it really is to die. By now, he was no longer afraid because, he realized that, death wasn't something to be feared, but rather a natural part of life. He summoned enough courage to join them at the funeral service.

At the funeral service, Peter couldn't help but, express the way he feels by letting out a free flow of tears down his cheeks. He wasn't ready to be comforted, because, to him, he needed to do it. He wished he could punch death in it's face, but that was of course not possible. He had to accept his fate.

After the funeral, Peter took a walk outside the mortuary to gather his thoughts. He had now understood the reality of death. His thought was taken aback, as he began to wonder how he had by himself walked into that mortuary. He then realized that, he had just faced his fears. He had taken a bold step by confronting fear!

Facing our fears holds utmost importance for our own growth. It signifies how Peter did not let his emotions get the better of him. Letting go is something difficult but important. Very well written my friend. Keep sharing such amazing thoughts. Have a great day ahead 💕

Thanks so much. I do believe so too that when we let go especially the negativity, it makes us a better person entirely. Thanks again.
