Take a look at happened in my life today!!

Good evening, my friends. How are you guys doing? Today, I will be giving you an update on how I spent my day. Today being Sunday, I didn’t go to church. Guess what happened.

I woke up very late this morning, around 7:00 a.m., although I did not sleep on time last night because I was very busy with studies and my online activities. So, when I woke up, it was already late, although I had already decided that I wouldn’t be going to church today because I didn’t have much money left for transportation.

After waking up, I did my morning devotion, and after that, I got out of bed to freshen up. After doing this, I went back to my room to read. And what did I read today? I read a lot of things. Today, I read pharmacology. You guys might remember the last time I told you I wouldn’t be touching pharmacology again until the exam was close. But unfortunately, I had to, in order to refresh my memory and also answer some past questions I recently got.

The topics I read in pharmacology included the pharmacology of acid-peptic disease or ulcers. In this, I studied drug classifications and mechanisms of action. These drugs are used to treat ulcers or excessive acid secretion in the stomach, which can cause gastritis or inflammation. There are about five classes of drugs used in acid-peptic disease, and you should be careful while using them because some of them have side effects.

After reading that, I moved on to another topic called the pharmacology of antiemetic agents. These drugs are primarily used to prevent or relieve nausea and vomiting. Their classification includes serotonin receptor antagonists, dopamine receptor antagonists, neurokinin-1 receptor antagonists, and anticholinergic and histamine blockers. Would you have the time to check out the drugs under these classifications in case you want to learn about them?

Another important topic I studied was antidiarrheal drugs. Yes, this particular type of drug is self-explanatory because its name tells you what it is used for. The classification of these drugs includes inhibitors of acetylcholine release. We also have locally acting agents such as absorbents and bismuth compounds.

I know some of these drugs might not be familiar to you, but anytime you happen to get a drug for any of these conditions I mentioned, you could check out their names to know more about them and what they are used for.

When I got tired of reading, I went out to take a walk. Well, I didn’t go too far because I already knew that I would be going back to my studies. After walking around for a few minutes, I went back to my room to continue my studies. This time, I picked past questions answered by previous sets to test myself on the topics I had studied so far. I noticed a lot of mistakes and errors while answering these past questions, so I decided to read more and deepen my knowledge in those areas where I struggled.

When evening came, I went out.

Yes, I saw this pawpaw, and it looked like it was almost ripe, so I took a picture of it. I also helped my family with food preparation. After that, we all ate, and then I went back to read my book.
