I know many of you would be expecting a post about my clinical posting today, but then that didn’t happen today. Well, I didn’t go to posting today because I was very sick. Yes, it started last night when I felt that I was having fever which later developed to malaria. Thank God this sort of sickness is not a new thing for us here and there have been reasonable drugs which handles the malaria effectively.

So, when I woke up this morning, I was feeling very weak and fragile, hence there was no need for me to get prepared for the posting. I woke up late though and that was ok since my system is fighting a disease.
Getting out of the bed around past 9, I did my morning devotion, brushed and then went back into my room. As I was lying on my bed, I remembered that I was supposed to make research on where to make money from part-time jobs. Without wasting any time, I reached out to the chatGPT app on my phone and began to ask it questions.
The answers I got were so impressive as I took my take to enquire more about each site. Here are some of the results given to me.

You may look them up for further information. Honestly, I spent so much time on this and I can tell you that the result I got worth every time spent on the research.
When I was done with the registration on some of those sites, I decided to read my book. What I read today? It was pure pharmacology. You might want to ask why do we study pharmacology as a physiotherapist.

Well, the answer is not farfetched. This course helps us to know the state of our patients and equally the best management to give to the patient. Knowing the name of drugs and what they are used for is so much important in this field. Do mind to know the topics which I studied today? They were drugs for asthma and narcotic drugs.

I’ll explain what these drugs are in a minute. First, drugs for asthma are those drugs used in the treatment for asthmatic patients and those with Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. There is one called Albuterol, which is used over the counter, I believe you must have seen the drugs if you have someone who is asthmatic. This drug is taken via inhalation although there are some which can be given intradermal. And the for the narcotic drugs? There are used to manage mild to severe pains. They include drugs like codeine, heroin, tramadol, fentanyl and the rest of them. These drugs have many adverse effects and their contraindications. I think you should check them out if you want to learn more about them.
This study lasted for about 3hrs before I started feeling sleepy. I didn’t know when I dozed off on my reading table but was understandable since I didn’t sleep very well the last night.

Later on, I went out to help prepare food for my younger ones. Guess what I cooked. It was Abacha, a typical local food here in this part of the country. You can see how the Abacha looks like from the pictures below.

Listen, this was very delicious and palatable. I don’t know what you think of it but you can tell me what you have in mind in the comment section below.
As evening approaches, I went back to finish up with my study and then watch some movies after that .

So, guys, should I say that I had a very productive day today or not… we'll that up to you! Thank you for your time here on my wall. I really appreciate it a lot.
