[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Yummy
Welcome my dear hospitalized travelers from the Internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, the zombie theme will always be something that I like to bring, the film that brings us today had one of the most striking covers I have seen in a long time, this being more than enough to bring a review of the tape "Yummy". Without more than add prepare to survive nurses and zombified doctors because we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros hospitalizados del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, la temática zombie siempre será algo que me guste traer, la cinta que hoy nos reúne tenía una de las portadas más llamativas que haya visto en mucho tiempo, siendo esto razón más que suficiente para traer una reseña de la cinta "Yummy". Sin más que agregar prepárense para sobrevivir a enfermeros y doctores zombificados pues estamos por comenzar.
Yummy is a German film released in 2019, directed by Lars Damoiseaux, produced by 10.80 Films, A Team Productions & Everstory Productions, has a duration of 1 hour and 28 minutes. It is a horror film and zombies, the story focuses on a couple who travels east of Europe for surgery, and, the girl of the girl, also goes for the same, the issue is that in that establishment they are doing experiments in humans and everything will go to hell when one of them escapes their captivity.
Yummy es un filme alemán estrenado en 2019, dirigida por Lars Damoiseaux, producida por 10.80 Films, A Team Productions & Everstory Productions, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 28 minutos. Es un filme de terror y zombies, la historia se centra en una pareja que viaja al este de Europa para una cirugía, y, la madre de la chica, va también por lo mismo, el asunto es que en ese establecimiento se encuentran haciendo experimentos en humanos y todo se irá al infierno cuando uno de ellos escape de su cautiverio.

The soundtrack is inconsequential, it does not contribute to the plot in any way, moreover, in a few opportunities the scenes would have been better without that dire musical accompaniment.
La banda sonora es intrascendente, la misma no le aporta a la trama de ninguna forma, es más, en no pocas oportunidades las escenas hubiesen estado mejor sin ese nefasto acompañamiento musical.
The construction of the world is poor, from the Vano it is clear that this will be a section that will not have any interesting moment, in turn, the scenery consists of scenarios with little luminosity most of the time with the intention of generating intrigue in the viewer, which is not achieved in any way. The camera angles do not stand out in any way, these are little dynamic so it makes the film feel even more static.
La construcción de mundo es paupérrima, desde el vamos se deja claro que este será un apartado que no tendrá ninguna clase de momento interesante, a su vez, la escenografía se compone de escenarios con poca luminosidad la mayor parte del tiempo con la intención de generar intriga en el espectador, cosa que no se consigue de ninguna forma. Los ángulos de cámara tampoco destacan de ninguna forma, estos son poco dinámicos por lo que hace que el filme se sienta aún más estático.
The plot is all that can be expected from a film of this nature although much worse because there is no interesting development of events, every product that the tape depends a lot on the stupidity of its characters to advance. Narratively there is not much, as previously mentioned the zombies tapes are not characterized by having a deep and interesting premise beyond the dead in itself, although the film has quite grotesque scenes that fit very well with the bizarre that is a film of corpses devouring everything in its path, all this is opacked by stupid moments that are supposed to contrast the seriousness of the situation, however, this end counterproductive when resulting in something annoying and anti -annual, this same amount of imbecilities are those that make the film feel boring and become difficult to see.
La trama es todo lo que se pueda esperar de un filme de esta índole aunque mucho peor debido a que no existe un desarrollo interesante de los acontecimientos, todo producto de que la cinta depende mucho de la estupidez de sus personajes para avanzar. Narrativamente no hay mucho, como mencioné previamente las cintas sobre zombies no se caracterizan por tener una premisa profunda e interesante más allá de los muertos en sí mismo, si bien la película tiene escenas bastante grotescas que encajan muy bien con lo bizarro que es un filme de cadáveres devorando todo a su paso, todo esto se ve opacado por momentos estúpidos que se supone deberían contrastar la seriedad de la situación, sin embargo, esto termina siendo contraproducente al resultar en algo molesto y anticlimático, esta misma cantidad de imbecilidades son las que hacen que el filme se sienta aburrido y se haga difícil de ver.
Nothing to highlight here, all are completely forgettable and value canyon meat, I will highlight the protagonist over the rest because it is too stupid along the tape, all it generates is rejection and desire to be killed to stop being so unfortunate.
Nada que destacar aquí, todos son carne de cañón completamente olvidable y sin valor, destacaré al protagonista por sobre el resto debido a que resulta demasiado imbécil a lo largo de la cinta, lo único que genera es rechazo y ganas de que lo maten para que deje de ser tan lamentable.
Yummy is a fairly absurd tape that uses the mental retardation of its characters to advance the plot, a decision that leaves quite a lot to be desired, on the other hand, the characters of the characters only stand out for the grotesque and shocking that are, outside of it there is not much to rescue. It is for everything that 1 star of 7 deserves, it has some very shocking bloody scenes but they are not good enough to ignore all the misfortunes it possesses.
Yummy es una cinta bastante absurda que utiliza el retraso mental de sus personajes para hacer avanzar la trama, decisión que deja bastante que desear narrativamente, por otro lado, las muertes de los personajes solo destacan por lo grotescas e impactantes que resultan, fuera de ello no hay mucho que rescatar. Es por todo lo que merece 1 estrella de 7, tiene algunas escenas sangrientas bien impactantes pero no son lo suficientemente buenas como para obviar todas las desgracias que posee en su haber.
