[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Sentinelle | The most annoying and incompetent police officer
Welcome my dear careless internet travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, the other day I was looking for something to see without having any preference for anything specific and when I saw an image of the film "Sentinelle" I simply didn't ask too much and I started to see what this police film had to offer. Without further ado, prepare to be completely incompetent because we are about to begin.

Sin más que agregar prepárense para ser unos completos incompetentes pues estamos por comenzar.

Es una cinta de acción y comedia, la historia se centra François Sentinelle un policía que también es cantante, se enfoca más en su carrera de cantante por lo que sus labores como policía dejan mucho que desear al saltarse todas las reglas que dicta el reglamente y ser en general un completo idiota abrumadoramente incompetente, su vida de imbecilidad tendrá una crisis cuando un grupo terrorista amenacen las elecciones y secuestren al esposo de la actual presidenta, por lo que este pelmazo deberá ponerse en cintura para hacer frente a todas estas eventualidades.

La construcción de mundo no tiene ninguna clase de sentido, en un primer momento se plantea un descontento general por la presidenta y la forma en la que su familia a estado apoderada del poder sin ninguna clase de escrúpulos, esto podría haber allanado el terreno para un contexto interesante pero a la hora del té solo te comentan ese descontento más nunca lo exponen de ninguna forma, por el contrario está ambientación queda como una venta de humo, lo anterior provoca que sea imposible tomarse en serio la ambientación debido a que se reduce a ser un chiste de mal gusto.
The plot does not make any kind of sense, throughout it only things happen that feel very disconnected from each other and it is the film that forcibly tries to put them together and pretend that they have some kind of logic, the moments of action are They are soaked in absurdities and nonsense, I am the first to love nonsense in any film but to balance it with a premise it would be necessary to have logical moments which are completely absent, leaving only nonsense after nonsense that ruins any iota of logic, which What's worse is that many of these things aren't even funny, they just feel like annoying situations that complicate things unnecessarily. Although the duration is relatively short, it still feels like too much for the very basic narrative that it handles, repeating absurd situations and including some that lead to nothing, at the same time, it takes the daring to add plot twists completely taken out of its sleeve and without any kind of logic to support them.
La trama no tiene ninguna clase de sentido, a lo largo de esta solo van transcurriendo cosas que se sienten muy desconectadas entre sí y es el filme el que a la fuerza intenta juntarlas y pretender que tienen alguna clase de lógica, los momentos de acción se encuentran empapados de cosas absurdas y tonterías, soy el primero que le encantan las boberías dentro de cualquier filme pero para balancearlas con una premisa sería hacen falta momentos lógicos los cuales se encuentran completamente ausentes dejando solo tontería tras tontería que arruina cualquier ápice de lógica, lo peor es que muchas de estas cosas ni siquiera dan gracia solo se sienten como situaciones molestas que complican las cosas de manera innecesaria. Si bien la duración es relativamente poca igual se siente como demasiado para la narrativa tan básica que maneja, repitiendo situaciones absurdas e incluyendo algunas que no llevan a nada, a su vez, se toma el atrevimiento de agregar giros argumentales totalmente sacados de la manga y sin ninguna clase de lógica que los sustente.
What a pain in the balls Sentinelle is, he is completely insufferable and his various imbecilities are just annoying, he tries to be funny with his nonsense but these are so crude and unpleasant that they only bother and displease more than anything else. Maousse is a sad case because his only function is to be the object of ridicule and abuse, so his character is reduced to that in almost the entire film. The rest of the characters are completely irrelevant and stand out for having an overwhelming absence of brains, almost entirely they are a bunch of imbeciles who only say meaningless nonsense only to show that they are a product of inbreeding. Her villain is pathetic, forced and lacking in logic, she is only bad for the sake of it and she also lacks a brain which leads her to do the most idiotic things.
Que dolor en las bolas es Sentinelle, este es completamente insufrible y sus diversas imbecilidades solo son molestas, intenta ser gracioso con sus tonterías pero estás son tan burdas y desagradables que solo incomodan y desagradan más que otra cosa. Maousse es un caso triste debido a que su única función es ser el objeto de burlas y maltratos por lo que su personaje solo se reduce a eso en casi la totalidad del filme. El resto de personajes son completamente irrelevantes y destacan por tener una ausencia abrumadora de cerebro, casi en su totalidad son una pila de imbéciles que solo dicen estupideces sin sentido solo evidenciando que son producto de la endogamia. Su villana es patética, forzada y carente de lógica, solamente es mala porque si y también carece de cerebro lo que la lleva a hacer las cosas más imbéciles.
Sentinelle is a film that is too stupid to be taken seriously, and even with that, it is too stupid to even become something dedicated entirely to humor, one of the most annoying things is seeing how the characters constantly sabotage everything to the point that The viewer comes to think that it is because they are involved in the conspiracy or something like that but no, they simply compensate for their absence of neurons with chromosomes. This unfathomable piece of shit only deserves 1 star out of 7, it has one or another funny moment although these are too few for you to forget about the whole disaster that the film is, not recommended under any circumstances, not even for insomnia.
Sentinelle es un filme demasiado imbécil como para tomárselo en serio, y, aún con esas, resulta demasiado estúpido para llegar incluso a ser algo dedicado enteramente al humor, una de las cosas más molestas es ver cómo los personajes sabotean todo constante al punto de que el espectador llega a pensar que es porque están implicados en la conspiración o algo así pero no, simplemente compensan su ausencia de neuronas con cromosomas. Este bodrio tan infumable solo merece 1 estrella de 7, tiene uno que otro momento gracioso aunque estos son muy pocos como para que te olvides de todo el desastre que resulta el filme, nada recomendada bajo ningún concepto ni siquiera para el insomnio.
