The SB Chronicle #Prompt 16- "Things I No Longer Worry About"

Hi bloggers.. How are you all doing today? Am sure you're alright.. Is another week of the SB Chronicle prompt. So today's discussion will be about the things I don't really worry about anymore. Just keep reading;

Things I No Longer Worry About

In this 21st Century, alot of teenage girls and boys involve their selves in competition with friends, especially material things. This alone makes them to worry to much. As a teenage girl, I have reflected on life experiences and I have understood that there are some certain I need to stop worrying about in life. Firstly, is "Physical appearance and trends". As a girl, I do take care of my physical looks, but the pressure to keep up with trends or doing what everyone else is doing, I don't do such. I focus on my well-being and personal growth, instead of joining trends, comparing myself to others, or to feel among.

Again, "Other people's opinions and thoughts". While growing up, I have come to realize that what people think or say about me doesn't really matter or counts. The negative talks from friends, peers, relatives, and the society at large doesn't freak me anymore. I have put an end to it and focus on being myself.

Thirdly, "Social media comparison". Truth be told, most of the luxurious lifestyle we see on social media ain't real. Some of them are living fake lives just to keep up with what's trending. I have tend to avoid the pressure of constantly comparing myself to people on social media and it has really reduce stress and anxiety in me. Lastly, "Past failures". I have drawn an end to dwelling in past failures, relationships, etc. I picked up some lessons to the past experiences, grow from it and stopped to worry about them.

In Summary, As a girl child, my advice for you is you should stop comparing or worrying about what your age brackets, or friends do. Just be the real you..!
