My Favorite Skill

In today's world, handwork and skills are very important in one's life. One without a skill seems to be like one who doesn't have something meaningful doing with his/her life. Before I begin with telling you about my favorite skill, let me first explain to you the meaning of skill. In a layman's terms, "Skill" is a particular type of ability one possess inorder to use it to achieve something big or great.

Everyone has a skill he or she loves and is interested in. As for me, mine is fashion and designing. Right from my tender age, I always had this flair of going into fashion. And today, that dream has become a reality. Now, I am able to see different styles and types of female wears which includes; corsets, bubu's, trousers, kimono jacket, shirts, etc. I can proudly say that this skill that I ventured into has indeed helped me financially, academically and other wise.

I began to learn this skill after my secondary school days, and now am a professional at it. When I started, I didn't have my own sewing machine. I was sharing machine with my friend during that time. It was the money I made from this skill that I was able to get a brand new machine for myself and I don't longer hesitate whenever a customer brings clothes for sewing. This is because i have my own machine now. It wasn't easy though, but it was worth it.🙂

In Summary, Skills are very necessary and important in one's life. My advice for you out there who doesn't have a skill of your own is this.. "Realize which skill you have an interest in, go for it, then you will see yourself becoming that great personnel you've ever dreamt of..
