Importance Of Farming

There are a lot of benefits attached to farming. Farming is a foundational activity that plays a crucial role in the development and sustainability of societies around the world.
Farming has been the primary source of food production. It has helped to sustain and reduce hunger and malnutrition globally. Economically, Agriculture has contributed significantly to the development of many countries across the globe.

Also, it has provided employment to a large portion of the population, especially in rural areas. Many families depend on farming for their income and daily sustenance and it has helped to redSuce rural poverty and supports local economies.Farming is not just about growing crops, but it has centered its aim to human survival, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

Actually, my main reason for this post is to show you how I invested my time in farming and the result I got. Earlier last month, I wenet to our farm to plant cassava and corn. Although it took a lot of time to finish up, but I was so disturbed in my spirit to finish it up even when I didn't have strength. Everything was done under the space of one week with the help of my siblings. As you all know, this is the season of corn.

So yesterday, I went to our farmland to harvest our corns. When I got there, it was so unfortunate that some of them hasn't gotten to the stage of harvesting it. So, I just harvested a few of them as you can see below. On a norms, if I should have gone to the market to by this maize, I will purchase it at the rate of #4,000 naira. But here it is, I didnt spent any dime in getting these ones. Thats the importance of farming..😊
