Ice Candy; delicious sweet treat for the whole family

Ice candy is not really a a candy and my fellow Filipinos know about it.

Today February 22, 2025 had a gloomy start of day and I told two of my younger kids to stay at home. Only @eylii went with my mum to the farm and ipon their return, they brought ripe jackfruit which our tree had bear.

My mum is a very productive woman and made the jackfruit I to something everyone in the family would enjoy. She shredded the jackfruit into small pieces and made the ice candy mixture.

When I arrived home after work, the misture was ready and all I did after dinner is help them place the treat to small plastics and lock them.

The normal tying would take a lot of time even though my eldest daughter helps in placing the mixture to the plastic so my sister looked on YouTube on how to tie plastics with ice candy easily with the use of rope.

She learned it herself first and taught me and honestly, it made the work faster.

The ones tied using the rope had a very little plastic left on top and and it means it had more quantity inside than the ones I tied using my hands.

I was willing to learn tying the ice candy wrappers with much enthusiasm because I see myself making it a business someday and I hope I could make it happen.

For now, I put the ice candy to the fridge for it to freeze for the night and tomorrow, we will all be enjoying it.

Jackfruit is a very nice ice candy flavor because of its unique aroma and taste.

I'm very excited to try our ice candy tomorrow.
